- Q: i have a twin bed and im getting a new one but wondering if the full bed will fit me and someone else if someone sleeps over? and whats the difference between them
- A full bed measures 54 inches wide and 75 inches long. The full bed is also called the double bed. It's designed to sleep two people, though it's just 15 inches wider than a twin. A single bed is also known as a twin bed. Its measurements are 39 inches by 75 inches. It sleeps one person. Some mattress retailers carry the XL twin, which is 5 inches longer than the standard.
- Q: What size bed should four sizes be bought on a 4 and a half bed?
- 3 feet is equal to 1 meters, so 4 feet and a half equals 1.5 meters, so that the width of the bed is 1.5 meters;
- Q: does anyone know a web site were i can look up antique simmons brass beds
- Have you looked up antique beds and gone from there? I'm sure they are out ther. Maybe start with antique furniture and go from there. Good luck.
- Q: Does anyone have any suggestions on a Great Feather Bed, that stays fluffy throughout the night, I don't mind if it requires fluff upon making the bed, but I don't like it to go flat throughout the night. I have been purchased one from QVC and did not like it, and it was not an easy return as the bed weighs about 20 lbs. Really really would appreciate anyone's input, please list the website if there is one to purchase the bed.
- Feather beds sound better than they really are. The best of feathers will not stand up to being compressed for 6 to 8 hours. They are going to collapse and be flat or lumpy. To put it simply, you are really just chasing a dream of what you think a feather bed should be. I have slept on such beds when I was a kid and they are not really much by modern standards.
- Q: I heard peeing in the bed is hereditary is this true?
- That is certainly part of it. I am 35 and still wet my bed periodically. I did it almost every night until I was about 14. So did my brother (until about 16) and my sister (until about 13). My father also wet his bed through his teens and from time to time as an adult. In our case it has to do with some hormone that we don't make enough of. This hormone apparently helps you wake up when your bladder wants to go.
- Q: when is your bed time?weekends and workdays?also when do you get up?Just to know ;)
- I like to go to bed around 11:30, and I usually wake up between 8-10 AM. I'm home schooled!
- Q: I'm about to get a dog and am debating getting a dog bed. People that ?'ve talked to before always say that their dogs never use the beds they buy them. Is this true? Would I be better off only getting a crate or just getting a old blanket for her?

- Q: My baby is one month old and I need to know if it is dangerous for her to sleep in my bed? Also what kind of bed should we get her?
- Co-sleeping is actually safer than sleeping in a crib if you practice it correctly. Bird flipping has given you some great advice (all I would add to that is to place the mattress on the floor for added safety), and if you want to read up on it further, Dr James McKenna has a fantastic website all about co-sleeping. If you co-sleep, then there's no need to get your child a crib, cot or bassinet, they can go straight from your bed into a single bed. If you still want to co-sleep but are scared of rolling on the baby, or you just need more room in your bed, then the Arm's Reach co-sleeper is great, I'm going to use one with my twins when they're born (although all my other children have just slept in the bed with me).
- Q: I need to purchase an Aero bed; what style is best? Is it better to buy one with a pump built in, or best to purchase one that does not have a built-in pump. I have read mixed reviews. How long do they last? Pros/cons and would you recommend? Thanks.
