- Q:Theres a Green Illumination wire from the factory setup, where do I connect that wire too on my aftermarket deck? Also theres a White/Blue wire that I dont know where it connects either?
- The green illumination wire controlled the dimming on the factory stereo, but it will only apply if your tuner has the same feature. If it doesn't then just put a crimp cap on it and stow it out of the way. As for the white/blue wire, I'm not sure. If you pick up a wiring diagram, such as found in the Hanes manual, it will give you the breakdown. Not all the wiring in your car needs to be hooked up, just the ones that operate the tuner's functions and audio; if everything works and there's no left over wiring from your tuner's wiring bundle, then you don't need that white/blue wire. Crimp it off and tie it up to the bundle. - Two black wires in the box would be a hot from the supply and a switched hot to the load. If the timer has only two wires then it should be pretty easy to just connect them. If they are marked line and load then you would have to hook the wire for line to the wire in the box that is always hot from the supply and the other to the wire marked load. If you are still unsure then it really is not a job for you alone, enlist the help of someone with a bit more experience or even an electrician.

- that really depends what you want to do and how high you are going to fire. Generally nichrome 80/20 wire should be OK until cone 9. Then there is Kanthal which will withstand even higher temperatures but is more expensive than nichrome. You could get either probably in electronics supply houses. If you do lowfire, maybe up to cone 06 or lower steel will probably be OK. The surface of the steel will oxidise and so get clearly thinner, keep that in mind. Generally your wire and the clay should not be in direct contact because they have different thermal expansion coefficients. Depends how rigid your wire is if it will lead to major damage to your piece. But if you wrap your wire with paper before you put clay around it it is probably OK as long as you don't enclose the entire thing with clay into a hollow space. But it also depends on what exactly you are trying to do, e.g. what kind of clay you are using. Mostly people use wire with clay for making beads. If that's what you are doing you can also look up bead making techniques.

Otherwise the panelboard is a 3 wire board and no 277 2. 600 kcmil copper with 75°C insulation is able to carry 420 A as long as the ambient temperature < 86°F (30°C) and are installed by themselves (not in a raceway/cable tray with other power conductors). If the conductors are aluminum, the temperature is hot, the installation has multiple conductors in the same raceway/cable tray, or the distance is of sufficient length resulting in unacceptable voltage drop, the cable must be derated -- read you must increase the size to 750 kcmil or increase the insulation rating to 90°C The ground conductor should be of sufficient size

- A normal three way has two wires switch to switch and one wire from each switch to the single light. All you have to do is wire the lights in parallel, Each wire will go to one side of all three lights. The light to light wiring is no different then any other multiple light on one switch wiring. Except in this situation the two wires are coming from two different switches.
