I am planning my wedding reception in an old stage/theater type venue. The only problem is that my colors are pink and gold, and the stage area (which is prominent) has the typical stage curtains and theyre red. Everything else in the venue is neutral except those curtains.I know i could probably work them in, change my colors, or just ignore them, but Id rather not. I had thought about draping fabric over them, but anything except organza gets pricey (Im on a tight budget) and organza is see through. Any ideas?

I am in the process of opening a dance studio and I am trying to make a very simple, affordable buildout. There is one main space that is the large main studio and there is a small side studio that currently has a wall up that I want to extend by literally 5 feet.... The ceiling are incredibly high (approx 25 feet from what I can tell) and I was interested in perhaps putting a heavy, large, soundproof like curtain to separate the two rooms rather than building another very tall wall. Something similar to what you would see in a gym, that would divide it in half, that are fairly soundproof. The small room would not be in a ton of use but I want the option to shut it off from the rest. I need to know what terminology Id be looking for to search online for a product type or if anything exists?

If you are not going to see much of the rod, then get a simple wood dowel from hardware store and paint it black so it looks like iron (or white, or whatever color goes) You can hang it from wall or ceiling using simple cup hooks (again from hardware store) . They just screw in and are cheap. Then drape the fabric over the rod. You can always add some nice ribbon or tassells to fancy it up, or if you are really wanting to be girly and romantic then maybe some fake flowers etc.
