3.Description

Physical

Aluminium is a relatively soft, durable, lightweight, ductile and malleable metal with appearance ranging from silvery to dull gray, depending on the surface roughness. It is nonmagnetic and does not easily ignite. A fresh film of aluminium serves as a good reflector (approximately 92%) of visible light and an excellent reflector (as much as 98%) of medium and far infrared radiation. The yield strength of pure aluminium is 7–11 MPa, while aluminium alloys have yield strengths ranging from 200 MPa to 600 MPa.Aluminium has about one-third the density and stiffness of steel. It is easily machined, cast, drawn and extruded.

Aluminium atoms are arranged in a face-centered cubic (fcc) structure. Aluminium has a stacking-fault energy of approximately 200 mJ/m2.

Aluminium is a good thermal and electrical conductor, having 59% the conductivity of copper, both thermal and electrical, while having only 30% of copper's density. Aluminium is capable of being a superconductor, with a superconducting critical temperature of 1.2 Kelvin and a critical magnetic field of about 100 gauss (10 milliteslas).

5.FAQ:

1)what is aluminum?

Aluminium (or aluminum; see spelling differences) is a chemical element in the boron group with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery white, soft, nonmagnetic, ductile metal. Aluminium is the third most abundant element (after oxygen and silicon), and the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust. It makes up about 8% by weight of the Earth's solid surface.

Aluminium metal is so chemically reactive that native specimens are rare and limited to extreme reducing environments. Instead, it is found combined in over 270 different minerals. The chief ore of aluminium is bauxite.

2)What's kind of payment term we can supply?

CIF,CFR, FOB and other.

3)Can we supply samples?

Yes, we can!

Q:I would like as many people to email or contact all the major supermarket chains and request that they use enviromentally friendly palm oil.The palm oil that is currently on sale is damaging the habitat of OrangutansThe mothers are being slaughtered and the babies are orphaned.I have contacted all of the top supermarkets and Asda were positive, and have now been in contact with The World Wildlife Fund and Friends of The EarthAnd have actioned my comments. But it is gonna take ALL of the major chains to make a difference. If anyone would take a few minutes to help it would make such a difference.Thankyou.And maybe you could comment on this and let me know what you think.
you didn't say what region you live in, but generally, hydrangeas need some sunlightAlso, good soil irrigation is needed during the summer monthsSince it is potted, it should have some loose soil (just add some substance to keep it loose, including peralite) to insure good drainage and steady watering habitsThese plants prefer slightly moist soilI'm not familiar with all species, but there is a new hybrid that is tinged with green colorBut, allowing for good watering, drainage and ample sunlight, the soil may need a fertilizer boostLack of nitrogen cause slow growth and yellowing leavesPotassium is needed for good photosynthesis A shortage is indicated by mottled yellow or pale green mature leaves with scorched edges and less than usual flower yieldA boost of miracle grow with a bit or morning sun may do the trick!
Q:A rigid bar of weight W 800 lb hangs from three equally spaced wires, two of steel and one of aluminum (the center wire)The diameter of the wires is 1/4 inchBefore they were loaded, all three wires had the same length (L)What temperature increase ΔT in all three wires will result in the entire load being carried by the only the steel wires? Assume the following: Es 30 x 106 psi, αs 6.5 x 10-6/°F, and αa 12 x 10-6/°F.)Thank you so much for all of your help!!!! I really appreciate it!!!!
This is only a guess at where to start800lb on 1/4 round rod in tension is a tiny load so ignore elongation through stressBecause the thermal expansion/ contraction co efficient of aluminium is significantly greater than steelWhich I assume you have provided in 12 and 6.5It may be a simultaneous equation or it maybe just a simple ratio I suspect delta t will be minus about 3 to 4 degree F Hope this helps I haven't led you astray.
Q:what is an easy and yummy recipe i could take to a pound party?
How about go get an apple juice from the fridge and relax a while?
Q:Often when looking at a design for a hypersonic airplane, the nose is a wide, wedge shape rather than a pointIf you look at pictures of the x-43 or others, you'll see what I meanIt seems that at that speed, nearly any shape could produce liftIt also seems that with the massive drag of hypersonic flight, that anything to reduce drag should be doneA pointy nose seems more aerodynamically efficientWhy are they wedge shaped, and not cone shaped?
Because of heat considerationsWhen going at hypersonic speed, the heat gradient is inversely proportional to the radius of curvatureThe pointier the object, the hotter it will getWhen flying at Mach 3.2, the SR-71 outside skin panels were heated to over 600 F from air friction (that is why they were titanium, aluminium alloys would have not tolerated the heat)At supersonic speed, the actual shape of the body (being pointy as opposed to being bluff) is not as important, as the air does not have time to move out of the way anyway, as pressure waves propagate only at the speed of soundAnything that is outside of the Mach shockwave cone is not influenced by the object generating the waveOf course, the high speed regime imposes design choices that are less than optimal for lower speeds, making things complicated as a fast plane has to travel at those intermediate speed on the way to the cruise velocitySo, you see, that is not that easy a problem to solve.
Q:What is the diagram for the formation of an ionic bond between aluminum and fluorine (aluminum fluoride) using orbital notation? What is the diagram for the formation of an ionic bond between barium and nitrogen (barium nitride) using electron configurations?Thank you!
I believe this is accurateAluminum fluoride in orbital notation (perhaps this should be in hybridized?): ↑↓ ↑↓ (↑↓ ↑↓ ↑↓) ↑↓ (↑↓ ↑↓ ↑↓) ↑↓ (↑_ ↑_ ↑_ ↑_ ) 1s-2s—-–(2p)—-3s——(3p)—-4s———(3d) Barium nitride in electron configuration: 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p4 or [Ne] 3s2 3p4 in Noble Gas notation
Q:The local bats have found a new quot;hotspotquot; for their evening meeting place - my front porch! I am sick of sweeping bat poop off the porch every morning (granted, it's much better than when they were in the attic and sometimes got in the house!!)I had read that strips of aluminum foil hung from the porch ceiling would confuse their radar and would make them find a new place to hang outHas anyone successfully tried this or do you have other successful bat quot;removalquot; techniques? Thanks!
Simply put it up for adoption.
Q:When baking, what is the difference between aluminum foil and oil on paper?
The role of aluminum foil is heat and fast, even heat, so that the food will not be scorched, can prevent food grilled dirty oil tank at the same time, with aluminum foil wrapped food can be lost by reducing food and nutrition, water loss. So often when things oven with aluminum foil. But remember, the general will add lemon juice to enhance the flavor when baked, but citric acid will react with these metals, carcinogenic at high temperatures. So, you can add lemon juice after baking to eat.
Q:How is aluminium produced in it's raw mode, like the / dumber way of putting it since I don't understand the complicated stuff
aluminum is extracted from bauxite ores. whieis Al2O3.2H2O . its is extracted by method of electrostatic reduction... :-)
