Speed and Load controllers determine how fast the generator motor should turn over for a certain electrical demand, as in number of devices plugged in to the electric socket.

He had to synchronize two generators at that point. I'm sure you can find the answer there.

Q:I am investigating CoGen engine applications. I am looking for about 100-150kWh power output plus heat (water). Do you know of any application that uses solar thermal energy to power the engine? Also, it seems most CoGen engines use natural gas or other gases, but gas would not be viable for my application. Diesel would most likely be the second best option. Do you know of any diesel coGen applications?Please list vendors or prices.Thank you: You can use a diesel generator set to generate power and the exhaust to heat or boil water. You could also use an air craft derivative gas turbine converted to diesel or jet fuel and make steam or hot water with the exhaust.

Q:If a 13L big diesel engine can produce 400 hp at 1800 rpm, and a 7L diesel can produce 400 hp at 3600 rpm, but the 13L produces twice the torque, which would produce more electricity?: The 13 L of course, but in the case of a generator its usually limited somehow, also its more about fuel efficiency with power generation then anything, you want it to last through a storm or power outage for as long as possible and a 13 L will chug way more gas then the 7L, also what kind of engine are these a thirteen liter diesel engine only putting out 400 hp is a joke and it could go higher then 1800 RPM. So yes the 13l would produce more electricity quicker, but the 7L would be more useful and practical.

B: Magnetic Field. Theta: is the angle between the velocity vector and magnetic field vector (angle between v B). So if the current is in the same direction as the magnetic field, the angle between (v B) is zero or 180 degrees making sin(theta)0 which means F0 It experiences a force only when the current is perpendicular to the magnetic field or at least makes an angle theta with the field that is not zero or 180. what this means is there has to be a velocity component normal to the magnetic field.
