Ty Crane is actually at Venice Beach in Los Angeles I just saw him, he was selling his mix tapes, we talked then he said he was Ty Crane the actor from Coach Carter. He smiled eveytime he said he was a movie star. Go to Venice beach by the weights and courts and you will see him there!!

Q:I've been wondering about the infamous Crane Stance that many people associate with Martial Arts. Is the Crane Stance a technique that can be used in a fight and strike an opponent effectively without overly exposing yourself to strikes by your opponent? If it is, what are some techniques that can be used out of a Crane Stance?

Q:what does a paper crane represent/symbolize?
to get well. if someone you know is sick the Japanese say a thousands cranes will make them well.
Q:I just made origami cranes and want to hang them up, each by themselves with just a peice of string....how should i go about doing this? how is it usually done?
TAke a needle threaded with a long piece of black thread, and make a small knot at end of long thread. Push the needle thru the middle of the crane's back and pull the thread all the way thru the hole till the knot catches. pull the needle off the loose end of the thread and make another knot on that end. take a push pin or thumb tack and push the pin thru the knot, then push the pin or tack into the ceiling. FYI, tape never works - I have tried. The black thread lets them flutter a bit, and is invisible most of the time. p.s. ask your parents if you can hang stuff from the ceiling first. they may not want you to do that since it will leave holes in the ceiling when you take them down.
Q:I just wonder they use cranes at such heights, how do they carry the cranes at such height? Helicopter or something? This is a picture of what I'm talking
The cranes are jack-up cranes. They have their own self-contained jacks. As one floor is completed, they jack up to the next level. The cranes are on top of the buildings. They are designed by structural and mechanical engineers to loift a given weight.
Q:What is the load moment of a crane?
The load moment for a crane is a number measuring the weight of the load lifted times the distance between the mass and the centre of the crane's superstructure. For example, a 20 ton weight lifted at 5m away from the crane (in reality, right next to it!) gives us a load moment of 100 ton*m, the same as a 10 ton weight lifted 10m from the crane. Cranes can handle higher load moments closer to the crane, so really heavy lifts are always done from very close to the load.
Q:It affects my day to day life, especially in the summer, having to cope with crane flies, wasps and moths getting into my house, so I usually just pretty much keep myself in my room, door closed, windows closed to prevent any from getting into my room. If I happen to be near any of these insects I tend to have a panic attack and can't handle it. I have no reason for my fear, I am just afraid of them for no reason. If my room is too hot, I'll just sit in the dark with the window slightly open, in fear of them coming into my room. It's getting silly now and a lot of my friends will tease me about it. Really it's weird, I'm afraid of these insects, however I don't mind spiders (though I will not touch them), or any other insects for that matter. Can anyone help me to overcome my fears?
There is a reason you fear these, you allow it. Moths and crane flies are totally harmlees, and really nothing more than a nuisance. Over time you develop a fear of them touching you, and eventually even being near them. Because you dwell on this instead of completely ignoring them, you literally brainwash yourself into fearing them. You need to change the way you think about these critters, preferably, not thinking about them at all. At times when they are a nuisance, just deal with them. I had a moth last night fluttering around my lamp, and it finally landed on the curtain. I grabbed it and tossed it out the door. no more moth. I like to sit on my porch at sunset, sometimes I'll watch a little barn spider come out from behind the lamp and spin her web. Often a pesty crane fly will want to buzz in my face, and I just shoo it away. If it gets persistent, I grab them and toss them into the spider web.No more crane fly. (I get those pretty little green lacewing flies too) It is really a matter of learning how to just ignore them, and deal with them when they are a pest. Sounds like you pretty much ignore spiders, try the same with the moths and crane flies.
Q:how to make an simple electromagnetic crane?
Not sure what your question is. Do you know how to make an electromagnet, along with a circuit to turn it on and off? Do you know how to make a crane? It might be easiest to use a fishing pole, and hang an electromagnet off it (with a switch on the handle of the fishing rod). Apart from that, it's hard to know which part of the problem you're having trouble with.
