Food Grade CMC

Used as additive in food field, CMC has the functions of thickening, suspending, emulsifying, stabilizing, shaping, filming, bulking, anti-corrosion, retaining freshness, acid-resisting, health protecting, etc. It can replace the application of guar gum, gelatin, agar, sodium alginate, and pectin. It is widely used in modern food industry, such as frozen food, solid drink, fruit juice, jam, lactic acid drinks, condiment, biscuit, instant noodles, bakery products, meat products, etc.

Our food grade CMC has good thickening property, water retention, dispersion stability, filming and chemical stability. It has high viscosity even in low concentration, and makes the food taste delicate and smooth; it can reduce the syneresis of food and extend the shelf life; it can control the crystal size in frozen food and prevent the stratification between oil and water; In acid system, our anti-acid products have good suspending stability, so it can improve the stability of milk and the impedance ability of protein; our CMC can be used together with other stabilizers and emulsifiers to complement each other, strengthen each other’s effect and reduce the cost.

Q:Is modified starch a food additive?
I think it is not entirely, food additives are used to improve the quality of food, to extend the food shelf life, to facilitate food processing and increase the nutritional content of food a class of chemical synthesis or natural substances. But starch harmless to the human body, no limited use, and Some ingredients, accessories also improve the role of food, it should be ingredients or accessories ... ...
Q:need help with this problem, I guess i must have missed the class for this cause I do not remember it at all.
Not sure why there is an apostophe in fromt of 2/3. Do you mean -2/3? The additive inverse of a number is just the negative of that number. If the original number is negative, the additive inverse is positive. The additive inverse of 2/3 is -2/3, and the additive inverse of -2/3 is 2/3. Two additive inverses add up to 0. The multiplicative inverse is the fraction flipped over. 2/3 has a multiplicative inverse of 3/2. -2/3 has a multiplicative inverse of -3/2. (Multiplicative inverses have the same sign as the original number). If you are dealing with a whole number, make a fraction out of it by putting a 1 under it. The multiplicative inverse of 4 is 1/4. (Because 4 is 4/1) The only number without a multiplicative inverse is 0. Two multiplicative inverses can be multiplied together to get 1.
Q:I have a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 with a 390 engine, and have had it for about 2 years. In that time I‘ve put about 3000 miles on it, all without using a lead additive in the fuel. I hadn‘t even bothered to think if I would need it or not. Would I have wrecked the valves already by doing this, or might I not even need it? I don‘t have much history of the car, so I don‘t know if it has the hardened valve seats or not.So basically, if I‘ve made it this far without doing anything, am I pretty much in the clear, or should I still switch to the lead additive since damage might take longer to manifest?
it will run fine for now, but yea, use lead substitute in every tank of gas. the real fix is to get hardened exhaust seats installed in the heads, but you're looking at time and bucks. also, what you should use is a zinc additive in your oil at every oil change. modern oil does not have zinc in it (they removed it to help protect the catalytic converter), and you will round out the bottom of your flat lifters; also expensive to fix.
Q:why doesn‘t the FDA make wine producers list their ingredients.
It is true that Boutari is a very large successful wine company, mainly because they have a long history of producing quality wines from different parts of Greece at a modest price. Nemea is an area that Boutari and other great Greek wineries are making very excellent wines, especially red wines being made from the Saint Goerge Cabernet Grapes. Boutari also has a vineyard on the Island of Santorini which makes amazing world class wines Especially white wines and excellent desert wines. The boutari Moschofilero is a wonderful simple crisp white wine, That is especially great during the hot summer months Boutari Nemia is a blended Red wine That is also easy to drink and, not bad for the money, but there are many better red wines coming from this area of Greece. As far as Retsina goes, Yuck! I dont care who makes it, its wine with pine resin in it. The pine resin is used as a preservative, which was needed a thousand years ago when it was being transported by horse or row boat over many miles. now with Temperature control and much faster transportation I dont see the reason to drink it. Paul Greece began wine culture thousands of years ago, the Romans spread it around the world. the rest is history. stick to beer
Q:when are you suppose to use additive color mixing VS. subtractive color mixing?
Inverse is usually 1 divided by the number in question. I've been out of math too long to remember what an additive inverse is. If they are the same, then you want 1/(18/23) which is the same as (1/1)/(18/23) and now you can treat it as a regular division of fractions, invert and multiply. Again, if my memory is good, a number multiplied by its inverse is 1 so you can use that to check out your answer.
Q:Why would additives effect a three year old more than an eight year old?
It depends largely on the context (what additives in what? I'm assuming you're asking about something like medication or ingredients in a specific food), but generally I'd assume it has to do with body size and the capacity of the individual to metabolize the substance. It's sort of like how a person who only weighs 105lbs is much more affected by alcohol than someone who weighs 220lbs.
Q:for my homework i have to find out what an additive is, please can you make it simple not dead complicated like on pedia
An additive is something added to a natural food to enhance its colour , life span or flavour.
Q:I need to know if it all of them or just one?
if you're having that kinda problem i'd say trash the new air intake and put the old one in.
Q:Hi, has anyone used Lucas oil stabilizer in there car or truck? If so what for and what differences did you hear/feel? Thanx
I have used Lucas stop leak on oil and power steering leaks sometimes it takes two applications but yes i does work. The stabilizer I have not used but the stop leaks do work.
Q:If you can give me a link to a resource where I can watch the Documentary or even just a title. A documentary made by the major organizations (e.g. Discovery and National Geographic) would be highly appreciated.Anything about food additives. MSG, food coloring, preservatives taste enhancers etc.
The only thing (besides SuperSize Me) that comes to mind is a series on PBS called Harvest of Fear. They touched on food additives but it was mostly focused on genetically modified foods/cross-engineering crops foods.
