FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1267.2  m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

Q:I am really sick of my tile backsplash. It's small white tiles. Is there an easier and less expensive way to cover them up instead of removing them?
get the tiles out is way much cheaper then to cover another layer. You see when its broken we just throw it away cos its really not that expensive. If I'm your contractor I would make a easy kill.haha
Q:My husband ( yes...the one with the dents in his head from the cooker hood ) is fixing rustic tiles in my kitchen. He has done loads of tiling with plain tiles ( i.e straight edges!!) but we're wondering about spacing these with irregular edges. Very little advice on the web apart from to space them more widely which doesn't really help! Anyone done this and pleased with the result?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ..you will either love them or not ..they don't suit everybody ...these rustic tiles as you know have misshapen edges ...but they are all the same shape!...so lay them out flat ...you will need nine ...and work out beforehand the way the tiles are to be laid ...if you do them all the same way you can work out the spacers ...but you must keep to the pattern ...when grouted no one will see there is a pattern
Q:We recently renovated and trying to save money, we did the tile ourselves after some research. We used thinset, then backerboard, screwed the backer-board down (extra screws in high traffic areas) then thinsetted the tiles down according to instructions using a 1 inch trowel and grouted. Most of the rooms are fine (for now) but here‘s the problem:Through the main pathway, we started hearing what sounded like a sandy noise. Not good as the thinset is sandy. Today, I‘ve noticed that the grout along a few of the tiles is beginning to crack meaning the tiles must be flexing. The tiles are discontinued, have brand new cabinets on top of them and won‘t be easy to take out and replace. What should I do? Would putting large rugs over it help, with the intention of cushioning the footsteps?
You call a professional handyman or handy-woman for advice
Q:Ok, the builder and an independent foundation company both say that no foundation damage happened, just some settlement. What should I do with these cracks on tiles and on walls. Would leaving them alone cause any problem? When and how should I fix those?
If someone built your house and cracks have appeared then they should fix them.
Q:I‘m in the process of re-tiling my bathroom and when I took the old tiles off some of the old grout stayed on the walls or in some areas messed up the dry wall surface. I‘m looking for recommendations of how to either remove the old grout from the wall, or how to smooth the surface over the area in order to lay the new tiles. Suggestions?
You need to purchase some grout remover, you can find this at any place that sells tile. Then you need to get a container of drywall patch and spread it on with a puddy knife, then re- sand.
Q:tiles to be applied in tub surround and ceiling
Most of your thinsets are a latex thin set. Glass tile needs the step above this type. Always use a white thin set. Ceilings are a bit trickier since you ll need a good mastic . There are special techniques to do this but you asked for the best material. White extra modified latex thin set. Such as Super Flex by Tec, TA 391 if I remember right. But there are others on the market you can use. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL

Choose ceramic tile for tile size.
Q:Is to use a little water can be posted on the tiles above things. Other places can also be above the glass can be posted that what is the name?
Water painting is suitable for attaching smooth surfaces and surfaces to tiles, glass, wood, metal, plastic and so on.
Q:In my Bathroom, I want to update the tile. It‘s the small rough octagon shape in white w/black speckles. Grout is also white. I hate it, stays dirty. Thought about sanding it and putting a dye and sealer on it, but I dont know if this can be done. 2nd choice is replacing the grout w/black but I am back with the white tile, does anyone know if the sanding and dyeing it would work? I thought I would try this first, it would be cheap, because I have a sander and I can do it myself.. and thought I could maybe use the dye you use to dye clothes (possible?) and then just a polyurthane to seal. If I do anything else like, remove ceramic tile, this may be costly..Any suggestions?
I have never heard of any solution to dye dried concrete or grout. The only thing you can do if you dont want to replace it is to go buy a really good pool paint that they paint concrete pools with before putting the water in. You will want to sand the glaze on the tiles if you also want to paint the surface of the tiles. This will scarify the glazed surface to make the paint adhere to the surface better.
Q:we are constructing apartment....got a question about tile work..which is better, is it better to leave some gaps between tiles and is it better layout tiles with no gaps between them...the builder is suggesting the first option above...i prefer the second option...because with the first option, i feel there are chances of dirt getting clogged as time passess by...please advise
tile is always done with gaps, which are then filled with grout. small wall tiles usually have a tiny 1/16 gap, while floor tiles usually have bigger gaps from 3/16 up to 3/8
