Performance of Artistic Glass Block-02:
1. Environmental Friendliness
Belonging to sodalime silicate glass system, glass tile, a transparent material, is made by melting silicate inorganic mineral substance materials such as quartz sand, soda ash (Na2CO3) and limestone at high temperature, being a veritable eco-friendly product.
2. Heat-shielding Performance
Due to the diffuse scattering of hollow glass tile and internal negative pressure cavity, a room can get enough light rays and the interior temperature does not rise under strong solar radiation in summer. In winter, the difference between indoor temperature and outdoor temperature can reach 40 DEG C and the air humidity is not influenced because of low thermal coefficient and great loss of blocked heat in the negative pressure cavity. If the glass tile is applied to a building, the room gets cool in summer and is away from torridness, and warms the room, does not cause dryness and saves energy in winter.
3. Sound Insulation Performance
Thanks to sealing negative gas in the hollow glass tile, the tile has high sound insulation property.
4. Light-transmitting and Non-perspective Performance
The light-transmission coefficient of white hollow glass tile is 75%-85%, which is similar to that of the general double-layered hollow glass. There are various decorative patterns on the surface of the glass tile, so the tile is non-perspective, indoor imperceptibility is realized, light rays are scattered around the room, discomfort caused by direct solar radiation is solved and the indoor luminous environment is improved.
5. Fireproof Performance
The fireproof level of hollow glass tile is GB class A. According to Japanese law, it is recognized that single-layer wall has the same performance as the second kind fire door and double-layer wall has one-hour fireproof performance.
6. High Compression Resistance and Shock Resistance
The hollow glass tile has high compression resistance and shock resistance, so that the dead weight of the hollow glass tile can be ignored even in design and construction of very high glass tile wall.
7. Atomization Resistance
The hollow glass tile has outstanding performance in resisting pulverization. For example, the surface of the glass tile does not atomize or form dew when the indoor temperature is 20°C, the humidity is 60% and the outdoor temperature is 2°C below zero, so that the erosion of atomized vapor to the frame is prevented.
Application Range of Artistic Glass Block-02:
The hollow glass tile has noble, elegant and magnificent decorative effects. It is widely in banks, offices, hospitals, schools, hotels, airports, stations, landscapes, video walls, civil buildings, indoor partitions, stages, sanatoria, gymnasia, playgrounds, apartments, private cruise ships and so on which require beatifying, being a popular novel decorative material in modern international market.

Pictures of Artistic Glass Block-02:
- Q:What kind of tiles good? How to look?
- Good quality tiles it is thick, low water absorption, high wear resistance, but also to no pollution, no radiation.
- Q:Can you Spackle over ceiling tile and then paint it, or do you have to rip all the tiles out and Sheetrock the ceiling to have a seamless ceiling?
- Spackle Ceiling
- Q:adhesive tiles, peel stick tiles
- no, i never do it
- Q:I rent but we have cracked a couple of white kitchen counter tiles. Is there a quikfix alternative to replacing them? We realize the solution would be cosmetic.
- I can tell you of a little trick that I have done, and no one is the wiser!(No one can tell) I cracked two of mine next to the sink. I had to stop and think about this one awhile. It was in the kitchen and that's where everyone in the world congregates, and is very visible. It was a big crack, with a gap in the middle on one of the tiles, and just a plain crack on the other tile. I came up with using some of my white modelling clay to fill in the gap, and when dried, I covered it with White-Out. (I didn't have any porcelain repair.) The white out holds up to the water, believe it or not! Matter of fact, I've used it to fill in little chips that the sink had in it. And it's still there! Even after scrubbing the sink with comet! I'm both shocked and happy I came up with the idea of using it! Now that's just a quick fix. Under normal circumstances,I would have either looked for new tile,or have gone and bought some porcelain repair at the hardware store. Byee
- Q:What is half tiles
- Water absorption is less than 0.5% is called the whole tile is greater than the pottery is half porcelain
- Q:Just how long the renovation of the new house, my home bathroom tiles on the ground as long as the bath will be seepage, the investigation of the pipeline without problems, leaks are no problems, where the problem? Urgent to be resolved.
- You say is the bath water up to it! This is because the water can not flow in time when the water or water from the wall tiles and seepage, the ground tile pavement is empty shop, so the water will go back! If it is water infiltration, it goes without saying that waterproof is not done!
- Q:What are the benefits of installing tile in kitchen and bathroom or would linoleum be better? Also, how hard is it to install tile floors. I‘ve had friends who‘ve had no experience and they did it and did a good job. I am just a bit skeptical of doing it myself but just wondered if there are videos out there that shows you how to do it.
- lINOLEUM CAN BE A PAIN IN THE YOU KNOW WHAT. RESALE VALUE I WOULD HAVE TO SAY CERAMIC FLOOR TILE WITHOUT A DOUBT. FIRST LOOK AT YOU FLOOR ..DOES IT LOOK LEVEL FROM SIDE TO SIDE AND LENGTH WISE WITH NO DIPS IN THE FLOOR ANYWHERE. iF YOU ANSWERD YES THEN CHANCES ARE YOU WONT NEED A FLOOR LEVELING CRETE MIX. yOU WILL HAVE TO PULL UP WHATEVER IS DOWN THERE NOW..GET IT TO THE SUB FLOOR OR THE CONCRETE..DEPENDING WHAT YOUR HOUSE IS BUILT ON..IN EITHER CASE YOU CAN USE THE TILE. yOU NEED TO LAY MESH DOWN OVER THE FLOOR. THIS IS THE BACKING THAT WILL HOLD AND SECURE THE TILE TO THE FLOOR. ALWAYS START WITH A FULL PIECE OF TILE IN THE DOORWAY OF YOUR BATHROOM. WORK YOUR WAY TO THE BACK..THATS WHERE YOU WANT ALL THE TILE THAT GETS CUT TO END. THAT WAY YOU HAVE ALL FULL PIECES WHERE IT COUNTS. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A WET SAW..IT'S FINE. LAY ALL OF YOUR FULL PIECES THE FIRST DAY.DONT WALK ON THE FLOOR FOR A DAY . THEN THE NEXT DAY IS GOING TO BE ALL THE CUT TILES U NEED TO INSTALL. YOU CAN GET A CHEAP TILE CUTTER FOR UNDER 15 DOLLARS AT HOME DEPOT FOR ALL OF YOUR STRIGHT CUTS. IF YOU HAVE A TILE THAT NEEDS TO BE NOTCHED OR A ' L ' CUT..MARK ..MARK THE TILE WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE BUT..WRITE ON THE BACK OF THE TILE WITH EITHER NUMBER OR LETTERS SO U REMEMBER WHERE IT GOES..TRANSFER THE SAME NUMBER OR LETTER TO THE FLOOR SO U DONT FORGET. TAKE ALL THE PIECES TO BE CUT TO HOME DEPOT..THEY HAVE A WET SAW THERE ANS WILL CUT THEM FOR YOU. DONT TRIL TO TILE AROUNDF THE TOILET. IT WILL LOOK LIKE CRAP. **** THE WATER VALVE OFF BEHIND THE TOILET.LIFT THE TOILET OUT AND SET IT IN THE BATHTUB ON A OLD BLANKET THAT U DONT WANT. TILE UNDER THE TOILET AND GET CLOSE TO THE FLANGE AS U CAN..U MAY HAVE TO RAISE THE FLANGE TO THE HEIGHT OF THE NEW TILE FLOOR. CHANCES ARE YOU WONT. JUST MAKE SURE THE FLANGE ISNT BELOW THE NEW TILE HEIGHT. THIS SOUNDS REALLY HARD, BUT IT REALLY ISN'T. JUST TAKES TIME. GOOD LUCK
- Q:If I have about 56 tile in bathroom that‘s 8x8 and the new tiles would be 13x13 how many would i need. And for the wall tile is 8x8 and have 28 the new would be 12x12 how many would i need
- Using the 8x8 and figuring they are whole tile, there are 2.25 pcs of 8x8 in a s/f. 56 pcs divided by 2.25 is 24.88 s/f There are 1.17 s/f per 13x13 tile. 24.88 divided by 1.17 s/f is 21.36 pcs of 13x13 or a bare minimum or 22 pcs. The wall figures at 28 pcs divided by 2.25 is 12.44 pc or a minimum of 13 pcs of 12x12. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
- Q:I need matching vinyl tiles for my kitchen floor. they‘re about 18x18 inch. I only need about 6 of them. is it possible to have a company match the design of tile and custom make me new ones, or a company that can match them?
- If you do not put it down effectively/flawlessly, sure, it is going to start peeling up at the corners slightly soon. While you'll be tempted to lay it down on top of the vinyl floor you have already got, this may increasingly make sure a vulnerable bond and create two failure facets - the adhesive on the new tile, or the adhesive on the ancient vinyl. If that you could stomach the extra work, pulling up the historical vinyl is the only technique to make the new stuff final. For an awfully small investment of round $30 which you could pick up a floor publication at your nearby ironmongery shop. While you consider the time, effort and cash involved in dwelling rennovations, these books are valuable. Excellent success!
- Q:im going to tile the floor next weekend with 16x16 ceramic tile, and i could use some advice2 questions actually...1. when i lay my backerboard, and tape the staggered seams, do i keep that thinset over the tape very thin? im afraid of a hump in the floor when i go to lay tile.2. how much pressure do i apply when seting the tiles in the thinset? ive seen websites that show very little pressure..and some that show alot of pressure. does it need to float on the thinset or mash it down in the thinset. i just want this to turn out good...its my 1st time, and ive done alot of research, but the information varies from person to person. any added advice or tips on this project would be greatly appreciated.
- There is a really neat product called anti-fracture membrane available at most tile stores or in the tile section at home depot. The product is applied with a roller over your substrate whether concrete or backer board. A couple coats will prevent cracks from telegraphing up through your floor and prevent moisture from migrating up or down. Thinset is applied directly over the membrane. At work we trowell the thinset as flat as possible, no more than 1/2 thick and no more than 1/4 high. We also apply thinset to the back of the tile to insure a good bond. You shouldn't have to press the tile down very hard. Apply firm and even pressure to the tile pressing it down to your line. You can tap lightly on the tile to check for voids, you can hear if it is hollow. If you have to press really hard or if lots of thinset squeezes up between the tiles use less thinset. It can be frustrating at first but after a few tiles you should get the hang of it. A bucket of clean water and a sponge are helpful as even the best of us get a little thinset on the tile. good luck
