- The most common place to take them is the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. They have a monument dedicated to a girl who was affected by the bomb and died from cancer. Her name was Sadako and they have these glass cases that people from all over the world put their 1000 cranes in. - Most aerial cranes (Erickson Skycrane) are used for tasks such as remote location work or expedious work. It takes awhile to erect a crane for one air conditioner unit to be replaced on top of a 5 story building or to replace a cable on a wire bridge. They are also widely used for fire supression.

- Crane? anyway,, if your store has those little pieces you can buy to eat? or if you know someone with canes,, you strip off the hard outer covering,, this has the seed buds,, plant these in 3 inches of soil and wait,, cane is slow growing!! if you google sugar cane growing or go to wikipedia you will find plenty of info google buy sugar cane seeds you will find sites to order!!

- That is a good answer. Ordinary cranes build the steel frame to a height of perhaps 60 feet. The frame is designed so a specially designed crane can climb up the side (like climbing a ladder) to about 50 feet where the climbing crane can complete the frame to about 100 feet, then the crane can climb to the 90 foot level and build the frame to about 150 feet etc. Another method is the floor at about the 60 foot level is completed and extra strong. A crane is assembled on that floor and can complete the steel frame to about 100 feet where another extra strong floor is built. The crane at 60 feet is then dismantled and moved to the floor at the 100 foot level, or perhaps this is a second crane. Repeat until the full height of the building is frame work. As cranes are removed at the lower levels, more floors can be installed and some of the finishing work done. Either way, you can see why very tall buildings are very expensive. Likely both methods are used for some very large and very tall buildings. Neil
- Q:I was given a CCRadio and I have no idea what it is or what it does.The guy that gave it to me says it's an Awesome DXing radio (whatever that means). The display doesn't work but other than that the radio works fine and pulls in alot of stations the previous owner said. Can anyone help me understand what a CCRadio is and what it does?
