Q:How do they ventilate subway tunnels when they are building them? Obviously they cant use just electric vehicles to create stations and tunnels. TBMs are electric but they must use excavators, loaders, etc when building stations beneath the surface. How do they ventilate these tunnels?
There is a fan plant built next to an access shaft. The fans blow fresh air through the duct that runs down the shaft and into the tunnel, suspended from the tunnel's arch, all the way to the TBM. As the TBM advances, workers add new sections of the duct. The air then flows through the tunnel back to the access shaft. The section of the NYC's Third Water Tunnel I've been to, used very little engine powered heavy equipment. The train that brought workers and supplies to and from the TBM run on the CNG. Everything else run on electricity.
Q:The throttle is 10 vehicles have been working for 100100 hours no repair engine. Now talk about the problem of holding back the car. In the car work, reporting will drop point by drop, resulting in fire fighting. When driving uphill, hold back to extinguish the fire. The work is in small hard tired things will have to fire. The parts of the 2 hydraulic pumps have been cleaned. But it still does not work, the car reported at work when the gap is great. Very unstable. Does the problem relate to high pressure pumps or to hydraulic pumps? Is it caused by power mismatch, or what's wrong?. StopThe car is Hitachi 330. Direct fired. OK, on the downhill, the car will go off. Sometimes the 2 sides stop together and get stuck. Just shake it and make it work.
Your hydraulic pump has been cleaned, but is it appropriate to adjust the pressure? What else is the problem with the hydraulic pump?. Sometimes these conditions can occur with too much pressure regulation. If the pressure is normal or lower, it should not be a hydraulic pump. You can now find a school oil pump master to show you, ah, as long as the master is generally, you can certainly be an oil pump problem. Do you have a lot of exhaust under your engine, and do you have engine oil? These are the criteria for determining whether or not your engine is having problems. If the diesel pump, with the hydraulic pump is no problem, it is only the demolition of the engine overhaul. Exception, you walk running, the reason may be the hydraulic pump on both sides of the uneven pressure regulation, or side of the walking pump wear a little bit larger.
Q:Which country is the JCB excavator?
In every corner of the world, you can see JCB's machines, and JCB has become one of the world's most famous manufacturers of construction machinery.JCB is the world's third largest construction machinery manufacturer.

Q:Im looking for new tires for my 1987 Suzuki 250 QuadRunner 4x4. I came across some a tire called the Duro Excavator HF274. It is exactly the kind of tire that I want because it is good for mud and snow. It is a 4ply tire. But what im not sure about is if it might be to heavy for my quad and if the treads are going to be to agressive for the transmission on my quad becasue it is only a 250cc.
It looks like a good tire to me. The four ply is a plus, because you don't have to worry as much about puncturing a tire.
Q:I just accidentally put diesel fuel in the hydraulic oil reservoir of an excavator. Most of it drained out from the top because it was over flowing. That's how i noticed. If I could guess there is less than one gallon of diesel in there and it is a pretty big excavator so it has a big hydraulic tank. Just wondering if the pressure will cause the diesel to combust. It's a rental an I only need it for another hour or 2. Thanks
When compressed, diesel fuel explodes.
Q:So I got a new job and today was my first day. It was horrible, I got no training and it is a pretty dangerous job, it's installing sewer and drainage piping. I don't mind hard work, but I had no idea what to do and felt useless. My co workers are either assholes or idiots. My foreman is nice, but he hasn't trained me to do anything and expects me to figure everything out on my own.So I'm thinking of just not showing up tomorrow. I got a call about another job today and did not answer because it wasn't safe to do so at the time, but they left a message and asked me to call back, so I think I will tomorrow. Thoughts? Also I can't go in tomorrow and call about the other job because I'm always in a trench with excavators all around.
Just don't show up! Your life is worth more than a job, this job. Go for the other job! Your safety is all that should matter to you.
Q:We want to level the yard but need some pointers. Our yard has VERY noticable dips, one of which we used as a hill for sleding in the winter! So we want to rent a tractor or something to help dig and mover dirt, rocks, etc. and then make it level without making it suseptible to poor water drainage like creating areas for water to stand. Any tips or things to let us know that we would need? Like what is the best type of tractor to rent a excavator or bobcat??
The Bobcat is a versatile tool, but not great for digging dirt and rocks out out. Great for moving rocks and dirt once it is loose, but tends to grind a lot of ruts if you aren't used to running one. Depending on how much you need to move, a backhoe might be a better machine to use because it can dig up, transport, and grade easier than a Bobcat.
Q:some retraining as his 43year old body just can not operate heavy equipment anymore. I have been looking into other career choices for him that do not require much schooling due to his limitations. Would anybody out there have any suggestions. He has a bad back so keep that in mind as you answar. At this point, it doesn't matter if he needs to travel out of state. Thank you.
He can go to collage or maybe a smaller one for adults get education and find very good job.Maybe he can be a store clerk or a bagging person although that gives you no money.
