Q:here is the problem when i apply the brake my car pull to the right.if somone out there know of some part on my car that may cause this problem please tell mewhen i apply the brakes the padel feel good it is not hard and it don‘t go to the floor
if the car goes straight when driving before you touch your brake its not an alignment problem and its not a caliper. What's happening is one brake is not applying as much as the others. if it pulls to the right its a good chance its the left brake it could need bleeding, it could be a leak so best thing is to check all the brakes for wear and for leaks and then bleed the system and flush the system make sure the brake fluid is clean coming out of the bleeder screw.
Q:I have a 05 altima that shakes when brakingi just replaced the brake pads and rotors with premium wagner rotors and pads and it still shakes? Any idea what it could be?Thanks in advance!
New rotors? Soinds like they are warped OR struts are bad.
Q:In older ones, when u started and moved the car after some seconds, doors locked automaticly.but in new car alarms when u move the car they dont lock the doors till ur first brake.when u brake they lock the doors.why? What is the logic of this?why is it better than the previous method?
The way that I see it is that when you first get into the car you will put your seat belts on and then you will press on the brake which will lock the doors, this way you are completely safe and secure, probably mostly due to small children.
Q:starting from the pads
this depends on the car but ill lay it all out. you have the master cylinder filled with dot 3 brake fluid. you have a brake booster which helps with braking, brake lines, brake hose connected to the caliper, brake calliper, piston/s in the calliper, brake pads, bleeder nipple, rotor. some cars have drum brakes which have a wheel cylinder, the drum, brake shoes, springs which connect everything like the e brake, self adjuster etc, the brake adjuster wheel, bleeder nipple, a piece of metal which is used to apply the e brake, a brake cable which applies the parking/e brake. some cars may have an abs module or braking computer which prevent the wheels from locking up under hard or frantic braking which causes skidding. thats pretty much it simplified
Q:the truck is 1999 ford super duty, 550 and it has over 100,000 miles on it but used now for only small trips to store and has not towed anything for two years. hoping this is not expensive to fix.
Probably just a sensor. Most likely one that senses wheel speed. I don't know the cost, but I wouldn't think it would be too expensive. Have it checked out by your ford dealer to make sure.
Q:My brake petal went straight to the floor. why?
Sounds like you have lost your brake fluid either from one of your brake cylinders or your master cylinder. look behind each wheel to see if you have a leak. The master will be under the bonnet check to see if there is any fluid left in it. It is also possible a brake pipe may have broken.
Q:I just leased a new BMW. The brakes failed and I got into a car accident. I am afraid to take the car to BMW in that they may lie to me and tell me the car is fine. The brakes work now but not very well. Should I take the car to them or to someone else to get proof of a problem with the brakes. Also when they see the car, will I get in trouble for the damage then and there, being that it is leased? Thanks for the advice!
Brake fluid being low won't reason the topics you describe - by no ability use the storage back. you assert you're no longer an fool yet you seem to think of that is okay to no longer examine fluids for 5 months as you assumed they may well be high quality - your fool status ought to now be up for overview at the beginning for the belief and secondly for the inability of weekly assessments on your motor vehicle. that is definitely one of two issues - green drivers first time on slippery situations. I certainly have a valuable activities motor vehicle with ABS and if i do no longer force intently on icy or in basic terms slightly moist roads that is going to skid to a end with the ABS working like loopy. In chilly climate on ice or purely damp roads your braking performance is very decreased by making use of the inability of grip from the tyres. enable lots longer to end and accomplish that steadily. it would desire to be that the brakes choose for some artwork as there may well be some wiped out pads, shoes, discs and or drums. ?50 gets you nowhere with that. would desire to be you have a seized calliper or 2. Take it to a Kwik greater healthful for a unfastened brake inspection - greater perfect to comprehend that that is shot and not force it in case you could no longer get it fastened through loss of money. in case you will run a motor vehicle you choose for the provision of a minimum of ?500 to administration upkeep that would desire to crop up each time. My money remains on no longer something being incorrect with the brakes - purely the pedal pusher.
Q:HelloI am currently doing an assignment and i am having difficulty in answering the braking system of the Maglev Trains (EDS) Can someone tell me how Maglev Trains brake? Can you also please if its not a hassle provide the websites that explains the braking system on a maglev train (EDS)Thanks
Maybe this animation will help you. There's a section on propulsion and braking. I must admit it's not that clear there. They say braking and acceleration depends on the phase. What they mean by that is the following. The rails consist of alternating north and south poles of the magnet. If you time the electromagnets on the train just right, such that you have north poles in the train approach the north poles on the track, then it will repel and thus slow the train down. Once the train has passed, you switch the direction of the current in the electromagnets in the train. So the north pole in the train will then become a south pole, just in time to be repelled by the next south pole in the track. I hope this is clear now.
Q:Imagine you have a R/C car but in a big scale, where its weight is around 300 lbs. or so. What kind of braking system can be installed? As far as I know, for small R/C car, to brake the car, we can decrease the voltage input. However, for a big car, when it is moving fast, there is a lot of momentum even when the input voltage is shut off. How would it brake?
If the drive motor is a permanent magnet DC motor, you may use regenerative braking, that is shorting the motor terminals after the supply has been removed. Lenz's Law then brings the vehicle to a stop.
Q:Ok my boyfriend says that when his truck is on the pedal goes straight to the floor, doesnt stop. When its off the brake pedal has pressure again. He got some kinda cap and bled the brakes but he still has brake fluids. Hes getting real frustrated. any ideas on what to check next?
The brakes use what called a vacuum booster. The vacuum booser ONLY works while the engine is running. Therefore, with the engine off, there is no boost to the brakes. If the brake pedal is going to the floor, there is air in the brake lines, or brake cylinders (at the wheels). Air compresses as the brake fluid pushes into the brake system and alows the pedal to go to the floor. 1) Look at the inside of all four wheels for a fluid leak. 2) Check the brake fluid resevior to see if it's empty. 2a) If it's empty, he needs to have the brakes replaced or find out where it leaked out from. 3) He WILL need to bleed all four wheels to get the air out of the system in this sequence: Right rear, left rear, right front, left front.) Don't let the master cylinder go dry, otherwise he'll have to bleed it all over again.
