I know that there is a life expectancy for solar panels, and I suppose, the technology involved. Any information?
This Site Might Help You. RE: how long do roof solar panels last? I know that there is a life expectancy for solar panels, and I suppose, the technology involved. Any information?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a gas station or convenience store. Installing solar panels on these establishments can help offset their energy consumption and reduce their carbon footprint. Additionally, it can lead to cost savings in the long run by generating clean and renewable energy.
Solar panels which is the one produces the power...I wanna the complete description about it...
If your meter is actually running backwards, then you already have a credit. You must have a huge system, or not use much power at all. Most systems I have seen will at best just cut some percentage of the power used, primarily because the system only produces peak a few hours a day and power is being used 24/7.
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a warehouse or industrial facility. In fact, these types of large commercial buildings often have spacious rooftops that are ideal for hosting solar panels. Installing solar panels on warehouses and industrial facilities can help reduce electricity costs, generate clean energy, and contribute to sustainability efforts.
HIToday i was using my BB gun and shot my dads solar panel. I want to fix it for him because he spent a lot of time trying to get the solar panels. All i broke was the glass on the front, what is the glass and where can i buy new glass for it?
Is it a solar water heater (with water running through it) or a solar electric panel (makes electricity)? If it is a solar water heater, you can buy tempered glass from a local glass dealer. If it is solar electric, it is probably cheaper to buy a new panel than trying to repair it. Read the label on the back of the panel to determine what model it is. If it is less than 40 watts, you may be able to have one shipped to you. If it is bigger than that, it will be expensive to ship just one panel, as it has to go by truck, you may be able to find a local place that sells them.
All I know is they check for amps watts voltage and everything... they dont have to be used for solar panels but um they have like alittle spinny thing in the middle of them. you spin it around to what you wanna test such as the amps watts voltage and stuff.... idk what their called but im looking to buy one to test my solar panels when they come in
They're called...Electric Testers, or Voltage Testers, or whatnot, they don't really have a special name in my experience. Just go to your local hardware store and buy one.
I'm doing a project for school and I'm a little confused about energy and solar panels. I'm looking to propose installation of solar panels to power the computer lab at my school. From what I've read a computer and monitor use roughly 350 watts per hour. I was looking at solar panels and it says they produce various wattage. For example, I was looking at one rated at 200 watts. Does that mean 200 watts in a day? Or per hour? Please help.
The rating of a solar panel is a maximum continuous rating. A 200 Watt panel will give a maximum of 200 watts under ideal conditions. A computer and monitor use about 400 Watts. not per hour - watts is Volts * Amps and a measure of Power. In hour a computer and monitor uses 400 Watt hours (Wh). Wh is a measure of Energy. To power a lab of 0 computers you will need 0* 400 = 4000 Watts. To run this from solar panels through the day only you would need a 4000 Watt panel. Except - its cloudy, the sun is in the wrong place - many factors reduce the output. To be reasonably safe you would need about a 2000 Watt panel. Then you would need batteries to store power through dull periods AND a voltage converter to change from low voltage DC from the solar panels to the mains voltage for your computers.
Let's say I can buy solar panels for my business for $5,000 and my payback period is 8 years. Would it be correct to assume that my money is best spent elsewhere (such as paying down debt) if I am being charged an interest rate of 3.9%?
Probably, however, depending on what your business does, solar panels can be a somewhat effective marketing strategy. Also you are helping the environment with your investment in solar panels. On a side note, I didn't think modern solar panels had a payback period of 8 years? From what I've heard it's more like 7 years. Oh well, I don't know much about this topic.
