If you don't use chemical pesticides and fertilizers,it's organic.Storebought vegetables use both.

Q:Besides using bird houses, feeders, and baths. Do you use your flower beds and landscaping to attract birds to your yard? What plants do you use? How do you layout your garden in respect to birdbaths, feeders and houses?

Hummingbirds are attracted to lots of different flowers. Like Heliconia and Fuchsias. Mexican Shrimp Plant are very pretty red flower that attracts Hummingbirds and Butterflies. Go to a nursery and look for nectar producing flowers. As for layout and landscaping I've never used them but I've seen landscaping computer programs that are suppose to help you with this. you can look into it.

They are comparable and have pretty much the same inventory. I'd just go to whichever one's the closest. I would pick one over the other if they happen to have a sale on something I want.

my brother in law did this, and it was HARD!, and took a long time, he did everything himself, to cutting down the trees, peeling the logs and evrything. he also made the all the furniture, and light fixtures. his house was featured in home garden, magazine.a few years back... you may want to look in the homegarden magazine archives. he explained everything. it took him 3 years to build,, (just the home)
