Q:Do homes in Thailand have gardens? What style? English? French? Balinese?
I have Thai style garden. Mangos, Bananas, flower, lots of water and fish
Q:What are some better books for do it yourself home landscaping?
Better Homes Gardens has a pretty good basic guide. I bought mine at either Lowes or Home Depot several years ago. It covers plant identification, basic lawn care, pruning, soil amendment, etc. But another choice is contacting your local Cooperative Extension office and talking to a Master Gardener. They will probably have booklets and materials for your specific part of the country. This is a free service. If you can't find a listing, try searching under extension services or master gardener for your state and county.
Q:I would really like to grow Asparagus in my garden, but don't know how please help.?
no matter what kind you will not see eatable for a year or 2 if you oplant plants now you will get a bit next year if you plant seads if might be 2 or 3 years
Q:What are the easiest Orchids to grow in home garden??
I wouldn't recommend Cypripediums, since they require different care based on the species and generally like light, humus-rich, well draining and acidic soil, which is very hard to achieve and maintain in a garden. If you want cold-hardy orchids, try Bletilla striata. If you have a mild winter, Calanthe or Pleione may work, as they don't require that much soil amendments or extra care. If you can create a proper mix and get a native Cypripedium, it might be worth it, but I wouldn't recommend them for a beginner. If by Home garden you mean indoor garden, then Phalaenopsis, Oncidiums and if you have the light, Cattleyas might work for you. Read up on the care ; lot of the information you get from the tags is horribly wrong (water with ice cubes...repot in moss). Ludisia discolor might do well since it grows in soil and low light.
Q:Have you ever swayed from the cookbook Better Homes & Gardens?
I've always used this old, beat up, Pillsbury cookbook of my mom's. Sadly, I'm one of those people that can't cook anything unless I have a picture to go with it, and my Pillsbury cookbook is pretty good at having pictures of just about everything.
Q:How do you pull yourself out of a blue funk?
walk every day. keep positive thoughts dont bother with negative people thank god everyday for my home, garden and 2x kids. How could i be sad after that.
Q:backyard gardens?
Hi: There are many options for backyard gardens and it all depends on what your are looking for. There are many different plant specimens you can plant such as trees, shrubs, flowers, and herbs. There are also many different outdoor features such as a bench, trellis, decorative pond, decorative wall, pathways, bird bath and bird feeders. There are also many different styles of gardens to consider such as a formal look, informal, Yen garden, bufferfly, or vegetable. You can do a series of small defined beds or one large area. You can also do a row of evergreen privacy trees. There are so many different possiblies! I have different pages on my website on backyard gardens. I will first link you to the section of examples of landscape designs where I have a design of a backyard garden. I will also link you to the site map as this could be a good reference for you to browse through all the sections and get a complete idea of what to do for a backyard garden. I will also link you to the gallery of plant section as there is a wide variety of trees, shrubs and flowers for you to look at. There are also descriptions and zones for you to see. I hope this has helped and if you need any further suggestions, please feel free to contact me at the website. Good luck to you and have a great day! Q:Which bedding do you like best?
i like the first and third and the last one is ok looking but i would really have to see your paint colors to see if it would go
Q:Cookbooks for newlyweds?
I have used my Better Homes cookbook so much that the pages are falling out, and covered in all sorts of spatters from ingredients. I like it better than my Joy of Cooking for simple things. It gives you a good base to work from, and you can expand on most of the recipes to suit your own taste. I use The Joy of Cooking for reference (great info in the back) and when I want to try something more unusual. When I left my parents' house, I could bake up a storm but didn't even know how to make a casserole! Now, my friends love it when I decide to throw a dinner party!
Q:what kind of site lets you remodel your home on line so you can see how it looks before you actually do it.?
