- Q: Anyone have any experience with a Dyson?
- I just moved into a new place and had to buy a new vacuum. I find that a good canister vacuum. does the a great job on both surfaces. I went to Sears and bought a Kenmore.

- I know exactly how that feels. Your vacuum cleaner dies and it's time for a new one. I think right now, your best bet is to buy a good one who sucks even more dirt and dust ! They make them so freaking expensive because of their design and colors ! LOL !!!
- Q: It's a big pain to loop them around those two hooks. I have a bad back and hate all that bending over to do so. Plus, when I turn the top hook to get the cord off and usable it gets all twisted. It's so nice with a canister vac to just touch the button with my toe and ZIPPP, it's all tidy.
- Sears does. Their Kenmore brands have retractable cords. I have one. It is a canister vacuum with carpet attachments. Works great does the job of two vacuums.
- Q: What Are The Best Quality Vacuums In The Market? ?
- Dyson. I bought this vacuum in 2006 and it still runs like new. Hoovers don't work well, they will loose suctions after a few passes.
- Q: i have a canister vacuum cleaner that has been working on and off. When it works, it works well, but sometimes when you try to turn it on it won't. But then when you try again later, it works. And it hasn't worked when it wasn't even used shortly before so it can't be overheated. The vacuum is at least a decade old. I'm suspecting that the motor i nearing the end of its life..but my dad refuses acknowledge the possibility of that and citing that it just needs to be cleaned. I know when the vacuum needs to be cleaned considering that I'm like the only one who uses it!

- Q: Does any store sell steam cleaners that you can use yourself instead having someone else come to your home every time you need to touch up the floor?
- Just to let you know about steam cleaner vacuums. I do cleaning as my side business while my kids are at school. I have found that if you live in a pristine house then they work very well. But if you live in a house like a normal person then they are serious hard work. Everything has to come off the floor and it can leave a watery marks (not permanent) on lino. I found that they also don't let you get into the corners at all. Just so you know.
- Q: Oke this sounds kinda dumb but i was wondering..IF i had a space suit which would make me able to ''fly'' just a few cm above jupiter, and i wouldnt fall in it. if i had a vacuum cleaner with me, HOW fast would it need to go to suck up some air of jupiter?ik gravity is terribly strong but still.. with the right speed it can be escaped right ?

You could potentially devise some sort of airplane like vehicle which could fly through the atmosphere. Engine technology would be only one problem. Temperatures are cold, escape velocity is very high, and many other problems need to be solved. Getting a sample of Jupiter's atmosphere could be as simple, if you have solved the other problems, of having a vacuum bottle, opening it to draw in and capture a sample, then closing the bottle and leaving. You can read a lot about Jupiter's gravity, temperatures, size, escape velocity, and so on by searching for Jupiter in wikipedia.
- Q: It also needs to have a good hose on it for vacuuming our sofas and be able to handle pet hair as we have a cat. Bagless is preferred
- I have found that buying a cheap vac needs to be replaced very often. they don't vacuum well and break. I bought 2 great vacs (expensive but great). An Electrolux and a Dyson. both have out lived all of the cheap vacs ($100-$200) by a long shot

- Q: Hello! I was wondering if Vacuum cleaners get rid of germs. I mean, when I think about it, doesn't it probably suck all the germs up? Perhaps it may not kill germs, but it at least gets rid of them on a particular surface(like the carpet.)And if they don't get rid of germs, than how can I get rid of germs on the carpet? I know that Steam Cleaning and shampooing the carpet are good measures, but I don't want to do that on like a weekly basis. I am looking for something that can get rid of germs at least once a week.
- I know all the green people out there will hate my answer, but if you are concerned about germs in your carpet, the best stuff i know is Lysol disinfectant spray. I spray it on my carpets, my mattresses, couch arms, everywhere. It costs, it's not good for the planet, but it works. Vacuums can't vacuum up or kill germs. Sorry. Not yet.
