Q:I have a 2.5 bath house. I just noticed the tub at the 2nd bath does not have hot water but the sink and every faucet in the house has hot water. What could be the problem?
there is a obstruction in your bath manifod at the hot side weather it single handle or double handle, the only way to stop the water flowing to the tub is best to shut off your cold where the water enters the house and if you wish shut off the hot at the tank and remove the stem or cartridge which ever it is and possably blow it out with a compressor if you cant see the obstruction which does happen when the water is shut down, when u shut the water down open the hose bib and a couple of handles on your sinks to relieve water pressure
Q:It's very important that I do this the right way. (I sort of told the people I was working with that I knew how....but I don't) I bought a new faucet from Lowe's, and it has instructions on the back but I think I'm missing something. They also said something about the plumbing being bad and hard to work with? I've never done any kind of plumbing in my life.
You'll need to purchase a tap that matches the middle to middle size of your sink.I endorse Price Pfister, will rate just a little extra, however will final ceaselessly. Turn off the close off valves on scorching and bloodless. There's this distinctive wrench. Looks like a circular steel rod with a tee manage at one finish, and variety of a part moon with enamel at the different finish. Cost approximately $10. The toothed finish may also be swiveled for loosening(counterclockwise) or tightening. Use the device to loosen either side. And cast off the historic tap. If imperative, change the bendy hose or pipe that connects the tap to the copper pipe. Don't skimp in this, a couple of greenbacks extra will make the task alot less difficult. Fittings will need to fit on each ends of the bendy hose. Apply plumbers putty to the threads as you construct. Don't over tighten. When it is in combination, open the close off valves and verify for leaks.
Q:Faucet with the basin of the screw how to take, no position wrench no place to put, hand and twist fixed
Can be stretched into the kind of building materials to wear the supermarkets are sold if you do not understand to add my buckle
Q:of diameter 60cm with water at a rate of 2 L/min. Find the rate at which the water is rising in the basin when it is HALF full. [Use the following facts: 1 L is 1000 cm3. V = pi (rh^2 -1/3 h^3]I need help with this asap. Thank you!!
Equation of the hemispherical surface x? + y? + z? = R?, (-R z 0) The volume of water in the basin with the height h: . . . (-R+h) V = ∫ π(x? + y?) dz . . . -R . . . (h-R) V = π ∫ (R? + z?) dz . . . -R V = πR?[(h - R) - (-R)] + (π/3)[(h - R)? - (-R)?] V = πR?h + (π/3)(h? - 3h?R + 3hR? - R? + R?) V = πR?h + (π/3)(h? - 3h?R + 3hR?) dV/dh = πR? + (π/3)(3h? - 6hR + 3R?) dV/dh = πR? + π(h? - 2Rh + R?) dV/dh = π(h? - 2Rh + 2R?) dV/dh = (dV/dt)/(dh/dt) dh/dt = (dV/dt)/(dV/dh) dh/dt = (dV/dt)/π(h? - 2Rh + 2R?) There is an ambiguity when you say HALF full. It can be interpreted as the water was filled up to half its maximum height (R) or filled up to half the volume of the basin (2πR?/3) I will take the case in which the water was filled up to half its maximum height: h = R/2 dh/dt = (dV/dt)/π(R?/4 - 2R*R/2 + 2R?) dh/dt = (dV/dt)/π(R?/4 - R? + 2R?) dh/dt = 4(dV/dt)/5πR? Plugging in dV/dt = 2000 cm?/min R = 30 cm dh/dt = 4*2000/4500π dh/dt = 16/9π cm/min. dh/dt ≈ 0.57 cm/min.
Q:What is the size of the faucet mounting hole in the sink basin?
The mounting hole of the standard mounting table should be 35mm in diameter.
Q:have a leaky faucet in bathtub but not sure how to change seat

Q:Hi all, I currently have a moen faucet set 3 piece set model 4570 in my bathroom.. My daughter being fearfull that she didn't want the faucet to drip has now turned the cold lever all the way back until now the handle rotates without shuting the water off. I believe I have to replace the stem inside the handle but I can't remove it off the base of the sink. I can't loosen the locking nut underneath the sink either (even with trying to use basin wrench).. I saw the installation instructions online and from the diagram it shows I can acutally remove the hub from the top by holding the handle and twisting the hub if the opposite direction, but this thing won't bulge. what should I do?
unhook all the plumbing fron underneath. Take the whole sink off the vanity and tackle it that way. It is pretty tough sometimes to get the necessary leverage when trying to access everything from underneath. Might be a bit more labor intensive but it will certainly save you some busted knuckles and bruises on your head.
Q:hey guys, im replacing a kitchen faucet for my mom right now, and Its not one of the ones where it scres in on the two side panels, it has a long threaded neck that attatches to the sink basin, how would I take this out, I tried spinning the faucet to just unscrew the threading but it pivots...
Faucets that I'm familiar with sit on top of the sink and are bolted down below the sink. You have to loosen nuts under the sink from the threaded water supply lines on the bottom of the faucet unit, then lift the entire unit out from the sink. That leaves holes in the sink. Threaded water supply lines on the bottom of the faucet fit through those holes and water lines from your house's water supply are attached to those. But the handles, neck, the whole shooting match is one unit.
Q:What is the difference between a single hole and a double hole in a bathroom cabinet?
Elected to their favorite on the line slightly, you want to good quality to choose the brand, more secure. Good quality is not a single hole
Q:The plastic nuts which attach to the sink are plastic, and when I try to take them off with a basin wrench then pieces just snap off.
put pipe wrench (if round basin wrench) or cresent wrench if square on basin wrench to help remove nuts. wd 40 might help but I never used it.
