- this is not my area of study but i will give you something to consider. if you are looking for a large capacity crane for use on permafrost, you wont find one. the pressure placed on the permafrost by large weights will cause it to melt. anything that is heavy, like a house, will sink in the tundra just like it will in a swamp. for houses they excavate the foundation a build a giant wooden raft that the hose floats on. in ST Petersburg, Russians preferred a mix of reeds and slave laborers corpses's to build the raft. as long as the ground is not frozen there is somebody how makes what you want. if the ground is frozen, you will only find small machinery. best of luck ps dont look to hard. lots of diesel engines work great at sub-subfreezing temps.

- Im assuming it to be a modern Rolex Oyster 1/ it is much heavier than you would expect. 2/ the second hand appears to move in a continuous smooth motion rather than in individual 1 second ticks. 3/hold the face to your ear, you can actually hear the extremely rapid ticking 4/the face glass will not scratch nor break 5/when new it would be supplied in a green box containing rolex wallet etc. and Authentification certificate. My box and contents are in pristine mint condition, only ever opened once to take watch out when new. thus the box alone adds ?200 to value. 6/Any Rolex dealer will check the serial number for you. Also every reported lost/stolen Rolex is listed so dealer can check! 7/ Assume its dodgy, any Rolex dealer would buy it from him either for cash or in part exchange for any other watch! 8/ Rolex dealers all have secondhand watches for sale. 9/Decide if you really want a Rolex, they look superb but are not accurate time keepers! the inside is based on much cheaper Zenith movement. - Q: These cranes always stay higher than the construction process but I have never seen how they are extended to stay above all of it. They come in two formats, free standing and those attached to the building. The possibilities that I thought of was that maybe they use another crane to lift the housing and the horisontal arm to put in more modules into the vertical part; or that they extend it by some way by putting modules in at the top or bottom and that the crane has some self-lifting mechanism to accommodate the insertion of more modules. However, I have never seen this being done, nor does the construction of these cranes point to its ability to do so. The only other possibility that I could think of was that the crane is set up at the outset to be higher than the completed height of the building, hence there is no need to extend it but this does not explain how they do it for very high buildings where the crane is attached to the building and seems to grow higher with the building.
