product description
The molten silicon will then crystallize as it cools. By precisely controlling the temperature gradients, researchers have been able to grow very large grains, of up to hundreds of micrometers in size in the extreme case, although grain sizes of 10 nanometers to 1 micrometer are also common. In order to create devices on polysilicon over large-areas however, a crystal grain size smaller than the device feature size is needed for homogeneity of the devices. Another method to produce poly-Si at low temperatures is metal-induced crystallization where an amorphous-Si thin film can be crystallized at temperatures as low as 150 °C if annealed while in contact of another metal film such as aluminium, gold, or silver.Base stations - for mobil and internet provider

- Q: Are there any health risks associated with solar panels?
- No, there are no significant health risks associated with solar panels. Solar panels do not emit any harmful substances or pollutants that could pose a threat to human health. However, it is important to handle and install them properly to avoid any potential accidents or injuries.
- Q: Hi. I have been looking into getting solar panals but I only want them for one room. See, we're expanding the house by adding a basement, the basement isn't going to be that big but we wanted to have solar energy for the basement only. Could anyone give me a rough estimate on the cost of solar panals for my basement?
- If you're really planning on solar energy, don't waste it on your own consumption. The Hydro company pays you for the energy you put back into the grid....the strange thing is, you buy the power back for less than you sold it, so you actually profit on the power you make! look into this. I wired a nice house for a doctor, and although I didnt supply the solar system, I learned of this concept there. The guy who installed her system charged her around $40,000.00 and the system would never be able to run any large portion of their home. They, of course sold the energy to the utility.
- Q: What is the principle of solar panels work?
- optical - electrical direct conversion method is the use of photoelectric effect, the solar radiation can be directly converted into electrical energy, optical - electrical conversion of the basic device is the solar cell. The solar cell is a device that converts solar energy directly into electrical energy due to the photovoltaic effect. It is a semiconductor photodiode. When the sun shines on the photodiode, the photodiode turns the solar energy into electricity. Current. When many batteries in series or in parallel can become a relatively large output power of the solar cell array
- Q: Can solar panels be integrated into buildings?
- Yes, solar panels can be integrated into buildings through various methods such as rooftop installations, solar facades, and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). These approaches allow for a seamless integration of solar panels into the building's structure, providing renewable energy generation without compromising the overall aesthetics or functionality of the building.
- Q: please no dumb answers and list where you got the info. Also how much does it cost to install solar panels for a regular sized house?
- Short version is that the sunlight knocks electrons loose from a semiconductor panel, and those loose electrons generate an electrical current. The solar panels have lots of cells arranged in series parallel to get to a higher voltage (usually 2 or 24 volts) and current. This is sent to charge batteries under the control of a charge controller. The voltage from the batteries is sent to an inverter that converts the 2/24 volts to 20/240 VAC for household usage. .
- Q: I want to buy a solar panel from my house and I want to know how much it costs, what I have to buy and everything I need to know

- Q: Does San Francisco get enough sunshine to really make solar panels a viable option for creating a self-supporting home? Certainly a wind turbine would be a good source of energy, but what about solar panels? Does S.F. get enough sunshine to justify using solar panels? It's overcast a lot in the Bay Area, are there any solar panels better than others for a climate like this?
- I know nothing about the Bay area, I live in KC. However, I believe that solar is the best answer to alternative energy. We should have solar panels everywhere, the suns going to be shining somewhere. I propose we make gigantic panels in the deserts where the sun shines and nobody lives, and hook everybody up to the grid. They can store energy when they get a lot of sun to make up for the dark days. They are expensive to make so we should start building them one by one all over. The sun is not going to stop shining for millions of years. Plus there is no pollution from solar. So, yes put them in the bay and back here in KC too.
- Q: i have a fountain system that has a small electric pump. its made to be close to a house but i want it across the driveway and i dont want to run electrical over there.is there a small solar panel that i can get fairly inexpensive to mount on a nearby tree and be able to plug the pump into it?
- You will need more than a small solar panel to run a pump continuously, unless you don't mind that the pump only comes on during the day while the sun is out. st you need to know what the power demands are of the pump in question. Not only do you need to know the rate of the power draw from the pump, but you will also have to calculate how much power the pump will draw from your solar system every day. You will have to factor in that the sun doesn't shine brightly every day, of course there's also night, so you will need a storage battery, charging system to go along with your solar panel. Now most pumps like the one you described are 20vac. Most solar panels, the batteries, the chargers are 2vdc. In order to get 20vac you will need an inverter. Once again, you will have to make sure that the inverter you get can handle the demands of the pump. A solar system that actually works for you takes some carefull planning, it's not something that you can just hang from a tree. None of what I just descibed will be inexpensive by my definition, so if it were me, I'd dig a trench across the driveway, install some direct bury cable on a GFCI circuit out of my main power panel save a bundle.
- Q: Can solar panels be installed in extreme temperatures?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed in extreme temperatures. Solar panels are designed to withstand a wide range of temperature conditions, including both hot and cold environments. However, extreme temperature conditions may affect the efficiency of the panels, reducing their overall performance slightly.
- Q: My dad owns a restaurant, and we are doing farely well, but we were thinking on installing solar panels to minimize electricity costs (and of course make it greener). My dad would like to hear some numbers on the price in today (August 29/202) and savings he could possibly make over the years. So In Total Here's What I'm Asking:) Would it be hard to install?2) Maintanence?3) Monthly Expense? (None?)4) Price?5) Savings over time?6) Pros/ConsThank you so much!
- This is highly sensitive to your geographical location, and what the roof looks like. If there isn't a large, flat area clear of shadows, it will be a hard proposition. The best thing is to contact a local solar installer for a quote. On Y!A, we can't come close without actually walking the roof. In general, few restaurants opt for solar power today. That suggests that it's not very good payback in that situation.
