Turn off the gas from the main, vent the content from inside the pipe from the exterior, add fittings to properly reposition the line using a petroleum-safe joint compound, turn on the gas and check for leaks at the fittings as necessary. NEVER heat rigid pipe to bend it for ANY reason.
