FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:A family member purchased 12x12 non gloss tiles for our shower stall and I don‘t think I ever saw a shower stall with non gloss tiles. Our old tiles had gloss. Can you use non gloss tiles for the shower stall?
As long as its a glazed tile with a matte finish. These types of tiles are in fact easy to make look clean since water spots hide better on a matte finish. If your referring to an unglazed tile, sealing the tile is a must, and I suggest sealing twice before installation. Matte glazed tiles are very common. I ve installed 10x more matte glazed tile than bright glazed tiles on shower/tub walls. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
Q:I redid my floor in november using the sticky tiles I purchased from Family Dollar. I wanted to take the tiles off. Is there a easy way to do this without spending lots of money?
The previous owner of our house, unfortunately, tried to renovate and improve the recently refinished and refurbished original clear-vertical-grain fir floors by sticking self-adhesive vinyl tiles to them to create area rugs of faux parquet and faux marble. After scraping, heating, and using a variety of solvents, I hit upon this far easier and relatively non-toxic method: dry ice. Remove these adsRemove these ads by Signing Up
Q:My mothers house has 9 tiles on her bathroom floor and I understand they are made with asbestos. Some of the tiles are starting to lift and I am concerned about how to remove and dispose of them, any suggestions?
well, if you don't remodel then you are ok without a permit. Otherwise the legal thing to do is call an expert to removed them. I would be careful not to cause any airborne particles to breath and remove them yourself. Spray water on it, then dispose it in a trash bag. The each trash pick up, would throw out a little at time. The asbestos removers do that anyway.
Q:should i put tile in my kitchen if im gonna put wood floors in rest of my house ? or should i put the wood floors all through out ?? does it look ok with tile and wood transition ??
go with what you want that's the first rule of any interior design whats the point if you hate it. However sun rooms get very hot and cool whitelight coloured tiles are very welcome on the feet. I take it the sun room is in direct access to the garden if this is the case tiles are easier to clean than wood. That said wood does look great. an interior designer is paid to come up with ideas that you wouldn't not paid to tell you exactly what to do.
Q:I have calculated that I need 388 tiles, each 9 inches big, how many come in one box?, I need to know how many boxes to order
Peter is right, each tile manufacturer will box their tile in different size boxes (per s/f). And w/o know the s/f of the area to be tiled no one can tell you how many tiles you need. Most tile is sold by the box now any ay. So in most cases you ll need to buy whole boxes plus waste for cuts. Any questions or if you come up with more info you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
Q:How can the stickers on the tiles clean up?
4. Fengyoujing effect can be. If it is not Glue stickers and the like can also be blown off with a hair dryer is very good off, but not suitable for plastic, hot plastic deformation. 5. blown with a hairdryer, this effect is very good at home is also convenient for everyone Hairdryer hair dryer, whether on the sticker glass, plastic, wood, metal can be, first with the hairdryer back and forth hot blowing a few times, and then tear a small side, along the direction of tearing slowly tearing side with a hot tube ,good results.
Q:Would they be easy to remove and not damage the floor (ugly linoleum) when I have to move out at the end of the year?
no the damage would be hreat every thing would have to be removed down to the bare wood. thats what peel and stick tiles do STICK.
Q:What is half tiles
Water absorption is less than 0.5% is called the whole tile is greater than the pottery is half porcelain. There is a very simple way to distinguish between the water is poured on the back of the brick very little water can be quickly sucked into the semi-porcelain is, and vice versa is all porcelain, and from the name and use can also The whole tiles are called antique tiles, polished tiles, tiles, matte bricks, etc., there are generally called with a certain stone, a certain jade, such as cloud shadow stone, amber jade, etc. are all tiles, The use of points on the majority of home clay floor of the earth tiles are all porcelain, and home bathroom, kitchen sticky porcelain walls are all semi-porcelain, so now the mainstream is the use of matte tiles, antique brick
Q:I want to install Travertine tile to a fireplace surround. This would be travertine tile directly to sheetrock, painted with flat latex paint. This areawould never see moisture other than something the wet grout and sealer. Is this OK? Will the sheetrock hold the weight of the tiles? What prep is needed? Or am I asking for trouble?
installing directly to sheetrock will not cause the tiles to break or the installation to fail. 75% of new homes are tile to sheetrock on fireplaces. mastic is never a good idea. Because this is not an area that will get wet, you might get by, but honestly... Why spend $35 for a pail of mastic when $20 will give you a 50# bag of modified thinset? So yes, sheetrock will support the weight of the tiles on a fireplace surround. No prep is needed. Cut tiles, thinset, and set. Also a tip... Some people like to caulk around the inside of the surround, as the grout tends to crack there with the expansion/contraction of the metal from using the fireplace. Don't do it. It'll look good for a little while, but it will stink every time you use the fireplace. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck!
Q:If you butt the all the tiles without any spacing, will the tile crack or bubble up due the expand and contract?
as was mentioned the grout lines help to allow for small or large diferences in size. The grout also makes the seal between the tile to keep water from leaking between.
