- If you find a small scale sectional (look at Bassett's CU2 style), this can really maximize the space that you have without overwhelming it. I suggest choosing a color of fabric that will be close to your wall color so that it will lessen the heavy look. Bassett also has a Room Design feature that you can use that is very helpful. As for putting them together, the delivery men are very experienced at this. Otherwise it can be a BIT of a struggle when snugging into a small space, but not impossible. (No tools required) The biggest issue for a sectional is getting the corner piece through the door. Most will fit through a 36 door with no obstructions or tight turns. If you move a lot, you may want to consider a sofa 2 chairs though, as these pieces will fit almost any room anywhere you go, a sectional may limit you in the future.

- Try Shout or any laundry stain remover. Don't scrub but blot with an old towel. If you have access to a carpet shampoo machine that sucks up the water, use that to rinse the product and the ink out. Be sure to let the stain remover work for a bit before you start blotting it up. Those products take a bit of time to work. Another product I use is Oops! It's made by the same company that makes Goo Gone, the stuff that removes label/sticker adhesive. Oops! is for removing paint splatters but I've found it works great on ink and marker too. It's got a funny smell but doesn't bleach or stain most fabrics. Try it on a hidden place before you use it on the part of the sofa with the stain. And leave it lay and work for a good 10-15 minutes before you remove it. And it might take several applications before you get it all out. Lowe's or Home Depot should have Oops! My son had a pen break in his bedroom and got ink all over his carpet. Between the Shout on the smaller spots and the Oops! on the big one, I got it all out. And I have used it to get red colored drink stains out of a white cotton sweat shirt and marker off nylon jackets.

- Get two ladders that are exactly the same, set them up with their tops just at the bottom of the window. (The longer these ladders are, within reason, the easier this will be.) Make sure their bases are stable and will not move. Before wrapping the sofa for its trip up the ladder, securely fasten two 2 x 4's- 8' long to what will be the bottom end of the sofa when it will go sliding up the ladders at the end of your rope. It would be best to keep your two friends that will be helping, off the ladders used to slide the sofa up. Therefore have two more ladders, one set on each side of the sofa slide, for the help. When the sofa reaches the window, gently lift the sofa over the window sill. At that point your friends that have been helping you pull the sofa up the ladders should go downstairs and start up the ladders and push up on the 2 x 4's as you continue to pull the sofa into the room. You will need three friends, two of them should be fairly strong, to complete the work. The third one should be used to film the process. The sale of the film may result in some rewards for you friends and pay for the ladder rental. I'll lmao when I see you on AFV.

- Good luck. It's pretty hard to convince a cat to sleep where you want. The only really solution, other than her deciding on her own, is to close your bedroom door. You can try to put cat nip on her bed, or just keep pushing her off when she gets on your bed (but she'll likely just come back when you're asleep.
