- Actually, a 48' vanity takes a 49' vanity top. Most Home Depots or OKorders have these, but you might have to special order a double bowl style. FYI that's pretty close together for two people, most double bowl vanity tops go on 60' vanities

- Q: I have this bathroom vanity light that was given to me by dads friend who owns a lighting company. It is a really nice lighting fixture that attaches to my bathroom mirror. There is one problem I have with it one of bulbs broke the glass piece that covers it. I think what happened was the bulb got so hot that it broke it. I glued but back but the heat from the bulb burned the glue and now the whole lighting fixture looks like crap and I want to replace it, however I am not sure what type of lighting fixture will attach to the mirror. Is there something special I have to look for. Any help Thanks
- This is kind of confusing.. Why does the fixture need to attach to the mirror? If it is a strip light kind of fixture, it does not attach to the mirror, but it attaches to the wall above the mirror. Some are mounted to the wall on each side of the mirror. I have never heard of one attaching to the mirror, but I am sure they exist somewhere. Go broswing for a new one at Home Depot, and the instructions in the box should tell you how to mount it

- Most special order tops will have 2-6 week lead times. Your best bet is to check locally for cultured marble companies...check with some local counter top vendors & inquire where you can get a custom vanity top made. Good luck...
- Q: I want to replace a damaged one with another banjo countertop. Some suggest getting rid of it because they can seem dated. But if I did, removal would require patching and painting a wall to match other walls in this small bathroom. And the big mirror would look overpowering & unbalanced then. I actually like the extra room the banjo provides over the toilet area as I display soaps and silver accessories there. Big Box stores like Home Depot and Lowes dont carry them. I am in southern California and do not want the expense of granite or quartz. The current countertop is white cultured marble and pretty tasteful for what it is. (p.s. I am not interested in painting it. I think the results look too DIY.
- You may want to shop this more. Get a feel for what's available. Typical sink vanity's come in 24 to 48. Other than those sizes, you most likely would have to get one customized. Since you are remodeling the bathroom, perhaps you can use a 42 vanity. I have found that the vanity's that come with a sink and faucet are cheaply made. It is better to purchase the cabinet, sink and faucet separately.. When choosing the sink and faucet, keep in mind what kind of towel holders and switch plates, toilet paper holder, etc that you want. Make sure everything flows together.

The counter top and sink is beige in color (which matches the toilet and bathtub) and the wood cabinets underneath is oak (with a bit of grooved paneling).
