Q:I just bought my first home and the downstairs bathroom is circa 1982. The wallpaper has been striped and primed for painting. Id like to replace the bathroom vanity (36 inches wide). Are there any reliable on-line services where I can locate something like that? It doesnt necessarily need to match anything "perfectly" because of its distance to other cabinetry. Thanks in advance!
google lowes and home depot sites.they have them.
Q:I need a nice bathroom vanity soon and for a fair price. Home Depot and OKorder's are so expensive for the larger size I need, 48". No luck with Craigslist. Any ideas?

Q:should bathroom vanity match kitchen cabinets?
It's not necessary. In fact, too matchy-matchy across the house is boring.
Q:so you know those boxed sink w/ vanitie that the lowes and Home depot sells. Most of the standard ones are either white or a light oak. Has anyone ever painted or stained the oak one a different color to match their bathroom a little better. Like a darker cherry vs. the light oak that you buy it as ?Was wondering if this could be done, or a good idea, would I have to prime it first, I mean it is wood, it should be able to absorb and accept a good quality wood stain, right ?
Most of the pre fab cabinetry sold at the big box stores are usually veneered MDF. Meaning you probably won't be able to stain the cabinet. You may be able to paint the cabinet.
Q:How is the Ensha bathroom cabinet? Its PVC bathroom cabinet okay?
The layout of diverse, increasingly rich style design of the bathroom cabinet to become a good helper to solve the problem.
Q:I want to remodel my bathroom, it's the original 1964 bathroom. Anyway, I am having a hard time finding a 54 inch vanity, thats how big the old vanity is and the space. Does anyone know where I could find one at a reasonable price? Thanks

Q:Like to know if anyone has used kitchen cabinets for a bathroom vanity at a finished height of 36" and had problems with it size in the bathroom. I read another old post that said it was too big for her she was 5' 2" and so am I. Said getting close to the mirror was a problem. Anyone done this.
it is up to you does the cabinet have a base?.....wall cabinets do not (kitchen)....floor cabinets do......look a 48' wide bath van...is 300-400 dollars plus counter....make due with what you can
Q:My bathroom designer suggested placing a suspended bathroom vanity unit above the heating duct in the floor.?
You don't have to use a suspended unit. You can get low-profile sheet metal floor duct deflectors that divert the heat coming from the floor grate by 90 degrees so that it blows out along the floor. These fit in the kick space below most vanity units then you cut an opening in the front of the kick space cover to mount a duct vent faceplate. When I remodeled the bath in one of my houses I did that and it worked really well -- I loved having the heat blow across the floor onto my feet on cold mornings. If you do decide to go for the suspended vanity, the bottom of it will kind of do the same thing, diverting the heat flow onto your feet. The drawback will be that moisture and dust will collect in the heat register underneath. I think having a duct extension sealed inside a floor mount vanity is less of a maintenance hassle.
Q:Hello,We are redoing parts of our 2 bathrooms. We are replacing the flooring, the toilet, and the vanity, however we are not doing anything with the showers/tubs. From what I've read you should do the flooring before you do the toilet, but wouldn't you want to do the vanity before you do the flooring? We will most likely be having a professional do the vanity and toilet, however we plan on doing the flooring ourselves. So would we have to have the professional do the vanities, then we do the flooring, then have them come back another day to do the toilets? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Do the vanity first, then the floor and then the toilet. If you can do a floor yourself, you can install a vanity and if you can install a vanity and a floor you are certainly capable of installing a toilet. Good luck with your project.
Q:New bathroom cabinet to put a period of time after the seams at the paint why the crack ah
Too dry. Do a good job after the general put a glass of water in the cupboard ah.
