It's one of the common misconceptions about bed-wetting that restricting fluids will help it to stop -- but the truth is that the body is going to produce a certain amount of urine during the night anyway, whether or not you have anything to drink. Most people who wet the bed do so either because their bladders aren't large or strong enough to hold the normal night's production of urine (even without drinking), or they have some kind of muscle or nerve problem that causes the bladder to release even if it's not completely full. While it's true that drinking a huge amount of liquid before bed is probably not the smartest thing to do if you're prone to wetting the bed, it's not the amount of liquid in your system that makes you wet the bed or not -- most people with too much liquid in their bodies at night will simply wake up and use the bathroom during the night, not wet the bed.

Q: On a platform bed for dorm rooms, do you get a regular mattress or a Mattress Pad? What's the difference. Also are platform beds meant to hold somewhat of a good bit of weight, if it were a queen size?: I think the beds should come with a mattress, and a mattress paid isn't necessary, but might be nice. A mattress pad is basically a sheet that has extra padding in it. The bed should be sturdy enough to hold a heavier person. There were a lot of big guys that I went to college with and they never had a problem.

Q: I just found this white bug in my bed! It looked identical to a bed bug, but larger and a greyish white color! Does anyone know what it is?: A poisonous albino tick

Q: I have a chihuahua I can I teach him to go to bed --- for him to go into his doggie bed /-- when I say go to bed: Maybe you could place him on his dog bed and say bed, then give him a reward. Repeat this maybe 7-10 times before saying bed and seeing if he goes on it on his own. If he doesn't, don't get mad or yell at him, just go back to step one. He'll get the hang of it eventually and be able to do it without being placed on the bed. Just remember to use positive reinforcement, rewards, petting him, saying good boy!, etc. I would suggest getting some kibble (doesn't have to be anything too fancy) to reward him.
