That is, not pure sine wave but similar to square wave.If we connect the type 2 (see above) charger to the A.C.output of inverter , then it will damage the charger. (as per my friend his charger got damaged).Could someone technically explain the cause / truth. .

The cheapest inverters put out a pretty rough square wave. It is possible that this could damage a mobile phone charger as the transformer in the charger is an INDUCTIVE load. As for transformerless (switch mode) chargers, they sometimes don't produce an output at all when looking at a square wave input. Using such an inverter to power a soldering iron or cup heater would be fine as these are RESISTIVE loads and are not affected by waveform. I won't go into the math and magnetic permeability etc. However, you CAN get inverters that are modified sine wave but they are considerably more expensive. These will run your charger just fine. They also have generally higher output power. Since your inverter is running a computer it is almost certainly a modified sine wave inverter and will be OK.

Unless you're in the USA on a CDMA network, then all you do is to swap your T-Mobile SIM into the new phone. If the new phone needs a micro-SIM you can find instructions online showing how to cut it down to size, or you can order a micro-SIM (or get one free from a T-Mobile shop) and get your number ported from the old SIM to the new one (takes up to 48 hours). If the phone you've bought has been reported lost/stolen then it will get blocked and your SIM will not work on it. The phone will also not belong to you either, despite having handed over money for it. If you are on a CDMA network then you will have to tell T-Mobile the IMEI.

No. T-Mobile does not carry the iPhone, and is unlikely that they can cough up the cash Apple wants in advance to sell the iPhone. If you want an iPhone, you will have to buy an unlocked GSM model. You will not get high speed data though.

I would have to say I probably do (20 y/o male) but my sister is either a close second or beats me (18 y/o). I use mine frequently, especially texting, but also placing calls, taking pictures and videos, and playing games. My sister regularly takes calls on our home phone, but most of my friends don't even know that number. Both of my parents have cell phones, my dad hardly ever uses his.

I use to be able to work off of cellularone and att but now it says SOS. How do I make it not say SOS so I can work off of the stronger tower in my area? Well unfortunately you cant make the SOS go away thats just an indicator that you dont have service. There is something you can buy called a service booster, sold at Best Buy, T - Mobile, or any online store (Amazon, OKorder, and so on) these boosters may increase your service but you cant just feed off of another network by option. The reason your phone would say Cellular One or Att is just by chance not because you could control it. Apparently those cell providers have blocked their service from t-mobile users. It is a dilemma in some ways. The fewer the features, the longer the battery life. The really high end phones have less life than the more basic phones. My BlackBerry Storm, which is a fantastic phone, has far less life than my previous BlackBerry Pearl - the Pearl would last four to five days, the Storm barely two. Doing things like reducing the backlight level, keeping Bluetooth off unless needed, not playing games or music etc., can extend it, but really the simplest thing to do is buy a second battery. I bought a second battery for emergency use and rotate it every week or two, plus when I am in the office I plug it into a Amzer docking cradle which also charges my spare battery.
