Q:I need somewhere to order big amounts of cheap guinea pig bedding. I tried using fleece,towels,newspaper etc but they just continue to smell and are a pain. I prefer using aspen, woodchips or some kind of bedding. I have a big (2x5 foot) cage with 3 guinea pigs. Bedding from the pet store for an appropriate size costs $20. That's like $20 a week! Way too expensive. Is there any farms or websites you know that sell CHEAP bedding? PLEASE help.

3 guinea pigs is bound to stink, regardless of what bedding you use, you need to clean it atleast two times a week by that i mean change the bedding etc, and spot cleaning everyday.

you can try to put her bed with her in on ur bed. show her how to stay in her own bed while she is still on your be than slowly put her bed on the floor so she can see that will be her bed for now on. like with my dog she sleep with me and on her bed. my dog starts off on her bed and like at around in the morning she will get on my bed. i show my dog that she has her own bed to sleep a month she is now 5 month old and sleep on her bed.

get someone to help you flip over your mattress in the evening, and look for small dark spots in groups. Bedbugs hide during the day and come out at night. If you do find bedbugs, make sure not to wear the same pajamas, etc you wore to your bed to another bed, as they can travel in fabrics and you don't want to spread them.
