You need to stay consistent. Keep gettting up and putting them in their own beds when they get up. It shouldn't be difficult with the 4 y/o cause he should know but it will take longer with the 19 month old.

Call your dog to his bed, once he's in it say bed. And reward him. Also you can hold him, put a treat on his bed and then walk away (make sure he sees the treat) then point to the bed, use the command bed and let him go. Once he goes to the bed to get the treat praise him. Also you can have him lay down in his bed and say stay, bed.. Always reward him when he does what you want him to.

However, aspen shavings are fine to use and are more inexpensive than other types of small animal bedding. Corn cob bedding is absorbant and relatively inexpensive, but can be a little dusty. Yesterday's News, a product made from recycled newspaper, is absorbant and easy to find, but a little more pricey. My personal favorite is CareFresh, made from wood pulp fiber. It's not great looking, but it is lightweight, dust free, has no inks or dyes, and doesn't disintegrate when wet.

There are specialty floors and patients need to be placed on proper floors. Responsibilities include code beds. You would be responsible for making sure that there are code beds for patients who require them such as CCU ICU. When patients are well they will also be need to be transferred to regular medical floors. Also Responsible for movement of patients or tranfers. This job really requires medical background and extensive training.
