Barbed Wire (Galvanized and PVC Coated)

Q: I am looking for some answers when it comes to soldering wires. Lets say I am using 6 to10 (22 AWG 2 conductor wires) and I want to solder those to 1 wire for power source and 1 wire for ground. Now lets say soldering 10 wires to 1 wire for power and 10 wires to 1 wire for ground. All the wires are the same AWG guage. Now that the wires are twisted together and soldered to the hot and ground source, by doing this will I actually make a resistor or change the amperage or reduce the voltage by soldering so much wires together to a 1 wire source? The power source I am using is 12 Volts. If anyone knows of anywhere I can find this information online, etc, I would appreciate it.
The amount of wires won't create a resistance or change the current. The devices and the power consumption of each will affect current. How do you think a car fuse panel works? Many fuses (connections) all come from the same positive wire on the car battery. The battery provides well enough current for every device to be turned on (for a period of time) and no device will suffer from lack of current. ____________________________ Resistors are what limit the current to LEDs. The only way to exceed the wattage of a resistor is to short out the LED.
Q: I removed my range hood (switched off the electricity for it first) and there are three wires coming out of the wall. There's a white insulated, black insulated, and totally not insulated copper wire. What is the non-insulated copper wire? When I flip the electricity on, will it have a charge? It was weirdly wrapped around a screw in the box with the wiring...I'm not sure if it was doing anything. Thanks!
The bare wire is ground, perhaps the most important wire because it is there for safety. Sure the hood would have worked with out it but you may have gotten electrocuted if it wasn’t connected. Whenever connecting wires in anything the ground wire must be connected. If the box you are connecting the wires in is metal, not only do you have to connect the ground wire to any other ground wires you also have to connect it to the metal box so that the box is grounded. Otherwise later you may come back and touch the box and get electrocuted. The ground wire is there to ensure the breaker/fuse gets tripped if a hot wire touches any metal part of any appliance that is connect in the circuit. If not it will be like touching a hot wire just by touching the appliance. Hope this helps!
Q: Having some trouble wiring fixture it seems to just stay on with the switch doing nothing.. here's the deal I have three different wires coming from ceiling power in, power out, and I believe switch.. there was a priovious light there so I know its correct just don't what wires go with what all help will be appreciated thanks
You have the incoming hot wired to the light, bypassing the switch. If you don't know what you're doing, get someone that does.
Q: We added an AC to a preexisting sx 80 furnace and we are having a hard time wiring the new thermostat to the furnace, and the condensor to the furnace. Anyone know how to get a wiring diagram?? thanks

Q: I just need to know what each wire is by the color because im trying to hook up my radio to it and the wires on it are different colors than the wires in my car i dnt kno wut is the ground/power/speaker wires or anything please help if you can. Thanks

Q: Are those coils of wires in an electric fan magnetic?
Electric motors, all electric motors, have some form of stator and some form of rotor. The rotor is the section that rotates... duh. The stator is the part that houses the rotor and does not move. AC electric motors, like your fan motors, take advantage of the fact that the phases of current alternate through the wraped wires around both the stator and the rotor. The wire wrappings make the rotor and stator into electro magnets. By careful placement of the rotor and stator wires, the magnetic fluxes that surround both parts can be made to alternately pull and push on the rotor. And that causes the rotor to turn. While most if not all commercial motors have wire wrapped rotors and stators so they are electro magnets, some lab motors may have permanent magnets embedded in their rotors in lieu of the wrapped wires. These are way cheaper, but they are typically way weaker than comparable motors with electro magnetic rotors. So, yes, the coils are electro magnets. As long as there is current alternating through them, there will be corresponding magnetic fields and appropriate forces to turn the rotors.
Q: Obviously speaker wire is what connects the speaker to the receiver; what's the difference between 'zip' speaker wire and...others...?
Zip okorder /
Q: How do current carrying wires produce magnetism... Explain, give sites and clarify.
i'm uncertain we've a sparkling theoretical answer to this in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it relatively is a demonstrable actuality that shifting expenses have an result on different shifting or movable expenses.even while there is not any internet fee glaring it relatively is summarized as magnetism
Q: How much wire is required?
R = p*L/A Solve for L, length of wire. L = R*A/p p - resistivity of nichrome A - pi*(1/64)^2 R - 2.2 ohm
Q: I have 4 gauge wiring ground and power cables, as well as a smaller guage wiring that is colored grey. I have the amp hooked up to the gound and power, how do I connect the sub to the amp?The subs is a 08 L7 in the kicker truck box wired to 2 ohms. The amp is the Alpine PDX 1.600.
take (i use 12 gauge wire on my sub installs) 16-14 gauge wire and hook up the positive on the amp to the red terminal on the sub and negative to the black one. I'm not really sure what you need exactly
