Also, get in touch with recommended pest control agency to go in and treat your mattress, bed and the entire room with a special product made to eradicate bed bugs. You may have to do this several times as bed bugs lay eggs. That is why it is so important to vacuum. Check with your local health department for recommended pest control agencies who specialize in bed bugs.

It sounds like mosquito bites. Bed bugs would bite you on your body, not just your upper arms. But your uppser arms were probably exposed to the air, and are better targets for mosquitos than your lower arms which move around a lot more.
