Q: Greetings, all! I am currently cleaning my room, as in looking for dust spots and trying to sweep it up. I tried vacuuming, but my bird got scared and jumped to the bottom of the cage, so I figured to get a little birdhouse to move him while I did it. I also cleaned the lamp that I was using to give him light at night, and I accidentally swept too fast, I saw the particles rise around the cage. I got so worried. Should I be worried? Or is it only a large accumulation that could damage the bird? What can I do?Thanks in advance!
Your kidding right? People have owned, raised, and dealt with conures for centuries. How do you suppose they cleaned thier homes? There was or is no technique special for pet birds, you just clean. Common sense will or should guide you however when spraying chemicals or getting the vacum hose too close to your bird, now I'm kidding.
Q: should i try vacuum cleaners or fridges instead
hahahahah, tough one dear! why don't you try gardening?
Q: Ive got a dog biscuit stuck in it.. if i take those two little screws out will i be able to get it out? will it be easy too put back together? i hate taking things apart because sometimes they just don't want to go back together!
Yeah take it apart. Nothing will happen. I always take vacuum cleaners apart. Its not hard.
Q: My vacuum cleaner makes my house smell every time I use it. Its a brand new vacuum. I've tried vacuuming up baking soda but that didn't work. Please help.
First see if you need a new bag or to empty out the collection area. Rather than baking soda at the food store in the cleaning area they should have stuff you can shake on your floor then vacuum up. Mom did this once and it smelled good for a few weeks after too each time she vaccumed.
Q: Is there a vacuum out there it is a certified air purifier? I recently learned that vacuums blow out dust, even ones with expensive hepa filters leak some form of bacteria into the air.I'm looking for facts only, not opinions. Sources preferred.
Any vacuum cleaner you want like that is going to be pricy. And usually when my vacuum cleaners start blowing dust, either a filter needs to be changed, a hose is clogged, or the dust catcher- whatever form it might take- needs to be emptied. I understand that Rainbow Vacuums, while cumbersome, are very good at controlling blowing dust because of the way they work. Try running a web search on hospital-quality vacuums: Those have to be very good at controlling dust because of where they''re used. Good luck!
Q: I have two pembroke welsh corgis who shed like crazy and bare floors (no carpet at all). I am looking for a great, affordable vacuum that does not collect hair in the bristles on the bottom of the vacuum but actually sucks it up into the machine. HEPA included preferably since I suffer from allergies to a ridiculous amount of indoor allergens. Any suggestions of good or even bad vacuum cleaners to buy would be great! Thanks :)
My Oreck does great on both carpet and hard flooring, but it is not a cheap vacuum. On the other hand, it has lasted me something like 15 years and still works like new, so in the long run it is probably worth the price.
Q: Hi,I am looking to buy a vacuum cleaners but am unsure on which one to get? Does anyone have any good recommendations. My price range is about ?150, preferably not a Dyson; and obviously lots of suction lolI have some animal so maybe one with a animal section or something.Oh, BTW i would preferably upright. Thanks
Well, amongst folks with animals, the Dyson is the favorite. We had the supposedly top-rated (by Consumer Reports) Hoover Windtunnel upright prior to our Dyson (which Consumer Reports has no use for). There is no comparison. I have to empty the Dyson at least three times every time we vacuum our 1400 sf house. I could go a month without replacing the bag on the Hoover. Plus, Dysons don't catch fire. I've seen ads for other makes showing their models picking up ball bearings and all kinds of stuff. Next time I need to pick up hundreds of marble-sized steel ball bearings, I'll buy it.
Q: What about the Kirby vacuum cleaners?
What about Kirby Vacuum Cleaners? I know they're are noisy, and grossly over priced. You can talk the salesman down to around $600.00. Check first to see if the salesperson is driving a cadillac Escalade. Also, the sales people prey on old people, and will not leave the home until the unit is sold.
Q: there lot many usb vacuum cleaners are available in the market of different rates, but this kind of vacuum cleaner has enough suction power to suck the dust from the air vent(which is near to the fan) of the laptop? Please give suggestion as i m going to buy this if its good then bec. i have problem that my laptop's air vent is block due to dust, so its creating thermal shutdown problem....so please suggest me weather its good to buy or not ? or either please suggest me its alternative to solve my problem?
You dont want a vacuum for that. You dont want to suck, you want to blow (kinky) a vacuums suction creates static pressure, which can cause static electricity, which can cause damage. So either buy a blower/air compressor, or buy some canned air. Canned air is cheap (like $4-6 at any walmart), and should last awhile, and works very well at getting dust off components. Just make sure you disconnect power/battery from laptop, and never tilt the can (as that causes it to freeze and can cause damage), instead of moving the can, try moving your laptop to the can while its upright.
Q: im just really curious about it and whats the difference with the conventional vacuum cleaner?is it worth buying?
they clean dirty steam
