- As I am a spiritual person and really don't believe in popular christian beliefs, I'd say that lightning rods are put in place for the proper discharge of lightning strikes to a building or object. The rods either go all the way down to the ground or have a copper wire that goes down. This allows a path of least resistance for the lightning to discharge into ground.

- The interconnect signals aren't standard across different manufacturers (and sometimes not even between different models from the same manufacturer). I'd be inclined to just bite the bullet and replace them all with the same model at the same time (then you know they'll work together). The wired interconnect models may never be standardized as it appears most manufacturers are moving towards the wireless interconnects (which probably aren't standardized either). :/

- Well don't expect to walk on the field after a week of practice and be the best one. I have been playing for 8 years, I'm a freshman in high school, I'm 14. I play varsity JV. We have practice everyday for 2+ hours wheather its raining, cold, hot, sleeting, etc., and sometimes on the weekend. I don't have much free time, so if your gonna play for your school or city large then get ready for nonstop pratice. Most people say soccer is that you just run up and down the field and it takes a long time to score. well its not, its more to it when your a player. Its a very contact sport so you may get winded or knocked out but youve gotta get back up to the ball. you need to know how to dribble, run endurance, run for speed, head the ball, chest the ball, kicking when your pressured, defending, shooting, juggling, corner kicks, pks, throw ins. etc etc. You need to know the rules and all the postions. It takes a lot of skills, if you feel like its too much, ask one of the girls to do some one on one with you on the weekend then try out next year. If you put your heart into something, anything is possible.
- Q: Okay, 1st I've though of the most stupidest ideas that pretty much made me worried now. So this is what happend, after reading on how unsafe it was to pierce your lip with a safety pin, I didn't know so I just gone right on ahead and did it, I didn't brush my teeth but I washed my hands, I used rubbing alcohol to clean the safety pin and my lip ring, Okay I used two types of safety pins becuase one was smaller and it didn't fit so I put in bigger one (cleaned with alcohol) in the same hole, it went in and then I put in the lip ring, it was like a loop type lip ring, I put it in and it bled alittle becuase it seemed the loop didn't really fit in but it gone in, I cleaned it afterwards with alchole and proxide. Now I took along time to do it becuase I was nervous. So I checked it was safe.. it wasn't, I took it off asap, I garged proxide and cleaned both sides with alchole, it feels like alittle bubble inside my lip, it looks a bit clean though.. Please don't call me ignorant and help.

- Q: i bought an alarm that i would connect the actuators to but i just want to know if i would need to get different door panels (from a neon that had automatic locks to begin with or i can just install generic ones wherever i want on the doors and that would be fine too? or is it possible to still have the manual button lock and be able to use that while in the car..if anyone did this before was there any cuttin of the door required or its a fairly simple installation.thanks
- This I believe there are others that use a level to work the clamp and pull it tight. They are common for connections that must be made quickly and often like those used for gasoline tankers at your local gasoline station.
- Q: I moved to West Virginia a couple years ago. I am not used to drive in snow at all so I tried not to drive in snow but last winter I had to go out in a deep snow and I almost had bad accidents twice in one day going down the hill. I am terribly frightened to drive in snow. Watching snow on TV even makes me feel so depressed thinking about coming winter.I have BMW X5 AWD with M/S tires. Going up the hill is no problem but down the hill, especially stopping, making turns in the middle of the steep hill is TERRIBLE.I slipped, turned around and went down hill backwards, almost went down the cliff with my 3 small children in a car.I will still try not to drive on snowy days but in case I need to go out..,what do I need to do to avoid this? Should I buy snow tires or chains?It does not matter how much it will cost, I just want to be safe.Again, there are a lot of steep hills here and I need to have good traction for STOPPING.Could someone give me some suggestions, please?!
