Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Fabric with Stainless Steel Wire Enhancing type is made of high temperature resistant and intensity 9 micron E glass filament texturized yarns with high quality stainless steel wire as enhancing material by special technique. The glass yarns are assembled and textured by passing through high pressure air jet machine into a soft yarn with outstanding insulation properties. These yarns are then intensely woven into a soft, durable and flexible fabric that can be readily treated or coated to further enhance its properties. Textured fiberglass fabric or cloth is available for supply without coating or treatment by Pasia. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are tough, durable and resist metal splash and welding spatter. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are capable of withstanding temperatures of 1000 for short periods and make functions as an ideal material for fire barriers and welding curtains.

Q:whats the difference between top soil and potting soil?
Potting soil is a very specific mix of ingredients used in containers. It can include material such as: peat moss, composted bark, pearlite, vermiculite, wetting agents and fertilizers. There are many different brands but the basic potting soil mix is pretty consistent. There are also specialty mixes designed to be used for specific purposes. The name is a little misleading since there really isn't any soil in it. Top soil is basically the uppermost layer of soil you'll find in your yard. It's a mix of decomposing organic matter, sand, and lots of other materials common to the area it is dug from. It's mostly used for landscaping projects, and sometimes added to potting mixes for additional weight.
Q:My dirt is mostly all clay. But I want to plant a few rose bushes. Do they all need sun only? If they are climbers, I have to get something for them to climb on. Is any material better than another? Is there one type of rose that is easier to grow than another?Thank you. :)
the new knockout series roses are easy to grow
Q:my female leo just layed her 3rd clutch of eggs, and soo far i have been un successful hatching any, they always end up caving in, get moldy, or dry out, they die before they get a chance.first, is it okay that the eggs are covered in a light layer of sand once i put them in vermiculite? or do they need to be cleaned? and second, i have the container, with the eggs 1 inch appart in vermiculite ( moist enough to pack a quot;snow ballquot;) and i was wondering what a sufficient amount of heat would be... can i leave them under a heat lamp of 100W? is that too hot? and do i have to continously keep them moist? how long will the vermiculite stay moist for before i need to moisten it again?HELP ima huge newb at this stuff and i really want to keep these ones alive this time!
Tim is incorrect. Leopard geckos do not need UVB lights. To answer your questions, you want the vermiculite to say moist and the eggs to be kept at a high humidity. The less holes in the container you have the eggs in, the more constant the humidity will remain. Normally you'll see condensation in the sides of the container. If not, add water, and also add water if the eggs start collapsing. Keep the temperature constant. 86 degrees will give you both males and females. I incubate leopard gecko eggs at 80 degrees if I want females and 90 degrees if I want males. I personally keep babies separate after they hatch and keep them in 6 quart Sterilite containers in a rack system heated with heat tape. You'll feed the babies every day or every other day. Give them small crickets and occasionally small mealworms. Dust the food in calcium every other feeding or so.
Q:A gardener needs 6 bushels of a potting medium of 40% peat moss and 60% vermiculite. He decides to add 100% vermiculite to his current potting medium that is 50% peat moss and 50% vermiculite. The gardener has 5 bushels of the 50% peat moss and 50% vermiculite mix. Does he have enough of the 50/50 mix to make 6 bushels of the 40% peat moss and 60% vermiculite mix? Explain.
He will use x bushels of 50%, and 6 - x bushels of 100%. The result will be: .50 * x + 6 - x .6 * 6 3.6 -x/2 -2.4 x 4.8 4.8 bushels of 50/50 mix contains 2.4 bushels of pure vermiculite adding 1.2 to make it 6 and you have (2.4 + 1.2) / 6 3.6 / 6 bushels of pure vermiculite 60%. He can also do it this way, using his whole 5 bushels: Let x amount of 100% vermiculite to add. 5 bushels of 50% vermiculite 2.5 bushels of pure vermiculite. 2.5 + x .60 * (5 + x) [ existing vermiculite + added 60% of total ] 2.5 + x 3 + .60 x .40 x .5 x 1.25 bushels added. Then he will have 6 1/4 bushels of the new mix. which will be 60% vermiculite. ( 3.75 / 6.25 0.60 ) If he then throws away 1/4 bushel of the new mix, he will have the desired mix in the desired quantity.
Q:I‘m doing a PJAS project and I really need help so I can have more informations of the root‘s daily growth. Thank you for those who help me! lt;3lt;3lt;3
I would suggest soiless hydroponics. Or grow in semi-transparent agar. However, If you absolutely have to use Soil. or vermiculite etc. Is just Viewing some of the roots sufficient. If its observation only, Can grow in a transparent container, glass or plastic. But do you need to measure their lengths or weigh them? If you do not wish to remove the soil and re-pot, thinking it might have an effect, another variable to worry about. If you are able to grow hundreds of plants. You can sacrafice 10 daily. Dump out their soil, rinse off, blot dry, measure, cut off root and weigh etc. Discard these when done. Do the same on 10 more the next day. Generate statistics from all this data. You should be able to make accurate conclusions.
Q:Any easy ways or idea‘s how to make an home made Incubation for my leopard gecko‘s egg?? She hasn‘t had them yet but she is showing signs of pregnancie. Any one help me out???Thanks alot, Linden
here's what you do. You buy some flex watt and you also buy a cheap theromstat from a pet store and hook the flex watt to the thermostat. You connect the flex watt to a plastic container. Since the thermostat will probably be cheap, you will have to have a digital thermometer to calibrate the thermostat. and there, you have a cheap incubator

Q:I want to start growing mushroom. For the compost I want to use horse Manure and heat it (to pasteurize it). What are some tips? Techniques? What temperature do you cook it at?Thanks!
any of these type products have chemicals in them that be harmful to your pet i do not like snakes but that ok i dint want to see it suffer either if you put that stuff in there with him you might as well put him in the oven and turn full blast because the fertilizer in that moss will do just that it will cook him alive if you have feed close to you some where that carries horse bedding like sawdust or saw chips anything but ceder chips the oils in it will bother him to pine or some type of hard wood will do great hope this helps
Q:my tortoise laid an egg yesterday and i have kept it warm in my home made incubator but i just want to know if there is anything i need to do to give it a chance to hatch.
Most tortoise species can have their eggs hatched at approximately 30 degrees Celsius. I use moistened vermiculite (available at garden centres) which i half bury the eggs. You really need to monitor the humidity as it is also very important. Anywhere between 60% and 80% is fine humidity wise. Is your tortoise with a male? If not i wouldn't get my hopes up. Hatching can be anyway past 60 days depending on the species.
Q:OK found a Black and Yellow king snake 3 days ago, i decided to keep it, so i put it into a cage (aquarium) and now she is laying eggs, what do i do,she has laid 3 already,do i take the eggs from her or leave them in there, help me
