—— Yes, 40*40 is available. Based on the actual market demand, we could also supply 45*45 and 50*50 accordingly.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is one 20’ container. For some special model, if its production is not arranged frequently, the MOQ is 5 containers.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
4. What is the delivery time after we paid the deposit?
—— Normally we shall get all items ready for loading within 3 weeks after we get the deposit or the formal Letter of Credit?

- Q:I am tiling my kitchen and My house was a prefab. and OLD. The plywood used was 1/2 (I measured it). what thickness of backboard/cement board should I use for under the tile and on top of the plywood? I was thinking 1/2 backerboard/cement board so there is 1 of subfloor under the tile. Do you think this is enough? Also, I am tiling around my cabinets, what do I do about the dishwasher? Do I tile around it? If I tile under it, it won‘t fit in the spot then. I was going to tile around it... I do have room to tile under the fridge though. There is space above.
- All tile hand book guide lines require a MINIMUM of 1 1/4 total substrate thickness to do ceramic flooring. This is both the ATC and TCA guide line. ( America Tile Council and Tile Council of America.) Should be fine won t cut it with ceramic , you need an additional 1/2 ply cross layed, glued and well nailed or screwed w/ no seams lining up . Then an additional 1/2 inch substrate . This using a cement board in most cases. This must be thin setted down and nailed or screwed in the proper fashion. You asked about the thin setting the cement board down, all I ll tell you is that I follow all recommended guidelines to be safe and I ve never had a problem.. The reason for this is because the thin set allows for no gaps , holes or spaces for movment of the cement board for a firm solide base for tile.. The refridge should be moved out during all this and then brought back in several days after the grouting is done to allow a little extra time to have the thin set dry more because of the extra weight .. As far as your dishwasher , your locking it in because of the flooring change..There you ll have to make some choices.. - Q:How do you show how to tile the plane?For example, if you use ‘+‘ (the plus shape)Do you merge/group the pluses ‘+‘ together to form a ‘+‘ plus shape again?Is that what tiling the plane means?Also, I am asked to determine all the basic rigid symmetries of this tiling (i.e. all shifts, flips and rotations). This forms a staircase which is two letters wide and one letter drop at each step. these can fit together perfectly. What I described has a natural 2 right-1 down pattern (from center of cross to center of cross) and a 1 right- 2 up pattern. The slopes of -1/2 versus 2 are perpendicular to one another, but do not give reflective possibilities (I don't think). Rotations by 90 degrees and slides do occur and I think these are all possibilities. The rotations can be centered at several points.
- Q:I am considering learning how to become a tile setter. Do any of you know if it is difficult for women?
- Becoming a tile setter is not hard at all. I've been a tiler for 7 years and am now 24 years old. The hardest part of the job is carrying countless boxes of tiles up and down stairs. You have to not be afraid to use hand tools such as grinders and undercut saws. Also, be prepared to make a mess of yourself with all the thinset and glue because you will be repositioning tile to fit it right and will get stuff on your hands and continue to wipe on yourself :)
- Q:I applied sealer to Mexican tile and within a few hours, it rained.The finish on the tiles now is cloudy. Will this clear with time as everything dries or should I bake the tiles to burn off the water trapped in the sealer?
- Unfortunately the cloudiness will not likely go away. The problem is that there is moisture in the sealer and the top of the sealer is not smooth. You may be able to fix this by just polishing the tiles with some steel wool (not the kitchen kind, the 00 or 000 polishing kind). Basically, just use the steel wool like sandpaper and rub out the finish. Rubbing out your finish is something that most woodworkers do to get a smooth and clear finish on their work and it also works for any other type of finish. If the steel wool doesn't work then you will want to either sand off the finish or use a finish remover to get the finish out. If you bake the tiles to burn off the water then you will likely yellow the finish or, depending on the finishing product, burn and blacken the finish.

- Q:We live in Phoenix and have a tile roof; most likely concrete tile. One of the tile on the lower level roof has somehow gone missing and I am trying to find one to replace it with. I don‘t think HD and Lowes sell roof tiles and I have tried to look up in yellow pages and am only finding roofing contractors. Where do you think I can just go and buy one tile. I won‘t need an installer as I can do it myself as it is on the lower level roof that I can access with a small ladder. Also tile is the one at the bottom so I won‘t need to climb up on the roof either :) Only logical suggestions are appreciated.
- HI, H.D. OR LOEWES MAY HAVE THEM . IF NOT, CHECK OTHER HARDWARE STORES OR ASK A CNTRACTOR OR ROOFER WHO USES THOSE TILES. A BUILDING SUPPLY CO, NOT H.D. OR LOEWES WOULD HAVE THEM FOR SURE.
