1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

- Q: How can you cover ugly wall tiles??
- you can get proper tile paint or if your really handy you can get some transfers to stick on
- Q: I am installing 13x13 porcelain tile on a wall. Should I leave a 1/4‘‘ gap for grout or can I butt them up tight for a smaller grout line?
- You can buy plastic spacers from tile shops in various sizes, In the shop I would place a meter of tiles on the floor and use some spacers to get the look you like. Then you know what space to leave for grout.

- The metal frame that divides the tile into different sections is made from strips of metal carefully bent and soldered into place. I have seen steel ones and also brass mold patterns. The key to it is to have the bottom of the strips perfectly flat and level so that when you pour in the liquid cement mix, each color stays in its own compartment. - Q: How is the acceptance of tiles after construction?
- First knock! The sound is empty! Indicating that the cement did not wipe evenly. There is a place where there is leakage. In touch! Tile connection is smooth! If the tiles are not flat, it shows that the cement gray is not even! Look after! Tile joints should be horizontal and vertical.
- Q: The tile at the store says $5.00 per square foot.. so I'm assuming that's the cost of the tile only.. and then how much does it generally cost to install? Another $5 or more per square foot? I am new to this all.
- Yes that is a sq ft price. Installation prices vary from area to area. Normaly, you can call an installer and they will give a free in home estimate although some do charge for this. I live in the southern US. Here the normal price for installation is about $3.00 to $5.00 per sq ft on a ready site. Prep work (ie current flooring removal, furnature moveing, etc) is extra.
- Q: How many square meters of tiles (wall) (Tiles) multiple?
- How big is it? 800X800 and 600X600 are a square meter weight is not the same?
- Q: I just finished laying tile in my shower. How long do I need to wait before I grout? If it makes any difference they are simple 4 inch white tiles.Also, just out of curiosity, I was told I needed to spread the adhesive on the wall and place the tiles over that. It seems like it would have been easier to apply the adhesive to the back of the tiles. Especially the last few tiles. Does this make any difference?
- No the adhesive goes on the surface to be tiled. You're not just gluing tiles to a surface, you are actually building a new surface - backer+adhesive+tile+grout. As far as drying time the type tile doesn't really matter as much as the type/consistency adhesive you used (should have drying time on label) and the temperature/condition of the room (is it a used heated space or new damp construction). We tiled one day and grouted the next.
- Q: If I start in the middle, I will have to cut tile for both sides. I think I should start in the upper right corner, but my neighbor seems to think it will look out of balance.
- Of course you start in the middle...but then again there are two ways of starting in the middle. Measure the space. Measure the tile and add the thickness of the future grout line. When you expect to cut the tile, and one always expects to cut the tile, you want to make sure that if you in fact begin with a GROUT LINE down the middle, you will have tiles of at least 1/2 the size down the sides. You don't want slivers of cut tile because your tile almost made it to the walls. So you may want a whole tile centered in the entry rather than the grout line. You can always lay the tiles out and see how it will look. Generally you do not want to use a wall as a straight edge, because usually they are neither straight nor parallel, nor perpendicular to other lines. Cutting a tile ever so slightly over a short distance will hide the building's flaws. Over a long distance it might become noticable. When you lay the tile out and you can decide where to end it rather than it automatically ending at a wall or something, you could start a nearly whole or whole tile at the door. Again you don't want a sliver of tile anywhere. If your tile is ceramic and has a stone pattern, be sure to orient them differently so as to minimize the repetitiveness. Never start in a corner.
- Q: we are planning on replacing our livingroom carpet, !/2 of it withceramic tile. Is there any do‘s and don‘ts to consider. Thanks.
- With all due respect and not knowing at all your DESIGN, certainly I have suugestions. After installing thousands of sq. ft of tile, and various other flooring I ask that you e mail me. The tile installed may be at some similar level to the tile but needs transition molding, and again without knowing the design; is to to be a DECO thing or a simple carpet butted to tile as in half a space? The installation process isn't so difficult even for a DY, but there are things to consider, I offer all the help, through my experience, I can offer in emailing me... even if I'm not BEST. - a lot of porcelin tile has the look of some textures and colors but is really just transferred on. (if you look close, you can see the pixels) and they tend to crack more when they are being cut being they are more brittle and shatter, which can cost you some extra tiles. the transfer may disenigrate with time depending on how well it was made. ceramic tiles are hardier and tend to be painted or dyed instead of transferred. they are also easier to cut and dont crack nearly as easily if something is dropped on them. however, you can get a porcelin that looks like marble or granite whereas ceramic looks more rugged....
