6. What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles? Which one
more slippery, more aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean?
Glazed tiles are colorful, the effect is rather diverse, stain-slip, abrasion resistance but worse than the porcelain tiles. Long-term use may wear a large surface; porcelain tiles have the higher degree, long hard wear surface. Good performance and stable cleanup (before playing the best times to use the wax to improve stain resistance). The porcelain tiles are weaker performance in non-slip than glazed tiles. If you do choose to cover up the tiles with new tile, you will probably not have a problem, but if the home inspector finds you have the tiles underneath, you will have to disclose this to the buyer who may want money back from the sale to remove the tiles which they will never do since they are already covered. If you are going to remove the tiles, get a reputable asbestos abatement contractor who is going to do the job right and not put your health in jeopardy. - Sorry , like T J said all tile needs grout. Dirt and debris will collect down in the groves if you dont.. Have you thought of a good laminate that has the tile look? Just need a skil saw or table saw (best ) to cut them. they can.Since it classified as a non wet area laminates will work fine in a 1/2 bath.. Less work putting them in too. - Most important get a decent tile cutter plan out your tiles so you have an equal cut at each end ,use tile spacers and good adhesive most of all like most DIY take your time

- You definitely don't want moisture to get into your walls. It will create problems. I'd recommmend a silicone-based caulk, you can probably find one that matches your tile or grout color somewhat. If you need a more cosmetic fix, replace the individual tiles that have holes drilled in them. You can epoxy them or thin set them in place, then regrout.

- Carpet is better if they fall, but stains easily and shows wear. You can get carpet tiles for the kitchen, that way if there is a spill you only have to pull it up and replace that one.
- Q: I want to buy lenulim tiles for bathroom. how can I measure how many do I need? and should I start putting in from the center? is there a link to watch? thanks.
- If your bathroom already had linoleum on the floor, just count the number there are. Start from the corner where your door is because you are going to have to cut some probably to go near your sink, and you do not want that showing on the opposite wall. I think they are usually 1 x 1 foot, and depending on how large your bathroom is (mine is small), it will probably only take one box of tiles. Get the kind that have paper on the back that you can pull off and just stick it down on the floor. That way, you do not have to mess with that glue stuff. It will stay stuck well if the floor is good and clean first.
