- Q:I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS that is stock, as in no aftermarket radio/electrical equipment and the fuse for the a/c and cruise. I noticed it popped when I bought the car and each time i put the same size fuse in or a bigger one, it automatically pops. I pulled the dash apart and all of the connections are good so I'm not sure of where to go.
- The fuse is a safety mechanism it will burn or pop as you say before damage can occur to the electronic component if it continually pops/ burns out that usually means there is a short in the wiring or on the part itself. Electrical problems can be a real pain in the a$$, even if you are experienced. So if you are not mechanically inclined I suggest not to try to track this problem down by yourself.

I am generally against putting most electrical equipment INSIDE a reptile enclosure, unless it was specifically designed for that, (in other words, designed to deal with water humidity, to be shat upon, etc) You could certainly aim it into the tank, provided you have a good thermometer to gauge the temps, (you don't want to overheat it either.) The first thing I would do If I were you is to reevaluate the type and wattage's of bulbs you are using. Maybe a higher wattage bulb can solve your problem.

Hence, these residue can dissolve and dissociate in water to form free ions that conduct electricity.

- First off eliminate all rational explanation before jumping to supernatural possibilities. TV channels changing by themselves are usually caused by batteries going in your remote control, so change the batteries in your remote control to eliminate this possibility. If the batteries in your remote are brand new try changing channel through a brick wall - go into another room and see if you can change the channel - not all remote controls are infra red. If you can change channel through a brick wall chances are your neighbour has the same TV as you and his remote is changing your channel.
