FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: i have a 15 in one card reader on my windows vista hp computer it will work fine once then. i will safely remove the compact disk and then i try to put a SD card in and it will not read it then i try ed the compact disk and it will not read it also all the removable disks are gone what is the problem
- If the card-reader is built-in to your computer, Windows probably still sees it as an external device. When you safely removed or ejected the other device it is possible the Windows disabled your card reader so it could be safely removed (even if it's internal). If it is an external reader, try unplugging it and plugging it back in. If it is an internal reader, try rebooting your computer.
- Q: Have a Canon Powershot A40 and a new computer with Vista , Can`t transfer from my camera and Canon says I need a Memory Card reader. Please walk me through what to buy and how it works, consider me a computer stupid person and go slooooow.
- You have 2 ways to get pics from your camera to your PC. 1. Thru the cable: quite complicated if you dont know anything about tech. You have to install the osft in the disc. comes with your camera, then plug your camera by the cable in the box too. 2. Buy a memory reader card, it should be an USB plugin gadget. You plug it, get the memory card from your camera, put it to the card reader, then copuy/past/delete the file as usual.
- Q: i can get photos but just not music and videos help please
- i had practicly the same problem go to where it shows the devices name, hit triangle and hit show all or display all and it will show them then go to the song hit triangle again and copy it
- Q: I have a old 60 gb ps3, and it took a crap on me. do the new ps3s that they have at walmart have the card readers
- Not to my knowledge! I have a 80g ps3 that i got being very luckyand it was one of the last ones they had that had card readers.I have heard the new ones don't have card readers, they are not backwards compatible (won't play most ps2 games). I belive they did this because people were complaining that the price was way too high.so hat better way to make it cheaper then to remove certain things that would help lower the price!
- Q: i,m trying to getb the pictures from the micro card to my computer.i put the micro card in a little adaptor which fits into this usb thingee[2 inches long by 1 inch wide .the micro card adapter fits in one end and the other end has a usb fitting]
- Then next step is to put your microSD/adaptor card into a memory card reader. Properly connected, the contents of your microSD card will be easily seen if you click on My Computer. Look for a new device within My Computer. You'll have to open the nestled folder you find there. Click on the View tab and choose Thumbnails, so you can see minature versions of the picturs. Then, you can copy your photos to any folder on the computer that you have or want to create.
- Q: i have a dynex 5-in-1 memory card reader/writer dx-cr501I put my ms-pro duo into it and it goes in too far to get back out. I know it's in right because I can upload pictures and stuff, but I don't know how to get it out. Please help me. I'm taking my camera away tomorrow and need my memory card. Thanks in advance
- you will want the adapter to maintain on with the cardboard in any gadget that takes the favored memory stick. if uncertain there is so little improve in cost to get one with an adapter lined then you definitely extremely've it in case you opt for it.
- Q: I have a Canon Power shot if that makes any differenceim looking for the thing that you can put into your computer and is basically a generic way for any flash card(that fits) to be read by the computer
- I got one for my camera that plugs into the usb port on my laptop for about $8+shipping on OKorder. It was an older model Efilm reader that doesn't read all of the new formats, but it reads standard and SD cards which is all I use for my Canon Elph. Very easy to use, just plug it into usb port and slip card into reader. It does the rest and very quickly. I've had mine for a few years now and never had a problem.
- Q: What are the write functions of the card reader?
- The first is the card reader is USB2.0. The computer is 1.0.
- Q: I dropped my multi-card reader on the floor about two months ago. It still works fine. However, in the SD slot, I think the bottom metal part got detached(unglued) from the bottom, and the memory card rubs against it as I insert it. The tech support said that the reader is physically damaged even if it still works and that it the rubbing might do damage to the memory card. But, the tech people at a computer store said that dropping the card reader won't do any damage, either to it or the card. What should I do?
- If the card reader works, then you're fine as long as the card doesnt get stuck inside. No need to replace anything.
- Q: A lot a card readers can read a great variety of formats, ( SD, microSD, MMS, etc, ) but is it possible to find a card reader able to read multiple SD cards ( only ) at the same time, - ie, they would appear in Windows Explorer like drive F, G, H, I, etc, for example. ( I said -only SD- cards )Where to find such a reader?
- Yes. I had one General Electric that I bought at Home Depot in the Home Phone area, and had like 3 or 4 different drives, all read cards at the same time.
