Q: I am installing a chair rail in a room with a window. When my chair rail meets the window, should I run it right below the window trim? Or should I give it some room between the rail and the trim of the window. I am painting one color below the rail and another color above the rail.Thanks for your help!: if you stop at the frame - you should frame the window, which adds yet more work to your already busy weekend. Which of course takes away from watching football. so - run it below the window and get it done sooner so you can get back on the couch and watch TV where you belong after a hard weeks work.

Q: so i found this amazing bean bag chair in the shape of lips, but I would like to find onw in light pink, so can i paint it? like using fabric paint maybe? Or can anybody find one like this is light pink?: I would suggest just finding one in light pink online instead of going through the trouble to paint it (using fabric paint of course) because that takes a really long time and it's hard to get it perfect and it's just a pain in the butt. Especially because fabric paint is just crappy anyways and should have never been invented lol. (: OR If you know someone that is VERY good with sewing (like my mom could totally do this with her patience) take a regular bean bag chair that's the color you want and, using the Hot Lips Bean Bag Chair as a pattern, shape it into the same thing. It's easier than it sounds because i know you are picturing beans everywhere right? haha You can buy bean bag beans at Walmart. OR You can cover the chair with the color fabric you want, sort of like upholestry. Ask someone with experience in upholstering chairs to help you!

Q: I'm trying to find classy seat covers for my kitchen chair and when I look on-line, all I see are the ones that cover the whole chair. I don't want to have them reupholstered due to the cost. Any help please?: Fast-Cheap and most of all, Easy...First, turn the chair over and see if there are screws that attach the seat to the frame. If so, follow these simple steps.(if the seat will not detach from the frame, this will not work.) 1st. Go somewhere like Walmart, normally in the back corner they have a fabric section. Find something you like, but make sure it's also thick enough it can't be seen threw. Get whatever you feel will cover all the seats. 2nd. Lay the Farbic good side down and place the cushion seat side down on top. Fold fabric over leaving enough fabric to cover the bottom cushions past the area where the frame attaches and cut. 3rd. Apply a strong adheasive (Gorilla Glue= Avaible at Home Depot) 1 from the outside edge of the bottom of the seat then wrap fabric tight. 4th. before the glue cures, place the seat back on the frame and replace the screws but only tighten one side all the way, this allows you to pull the fabric tight then screw in the other side. It's alot easier than it seems and costs like $8.00 per chair.Good Luck

Q: Just purchased 10 ladder back country chairs from a not so clean house. The chairs have a straw design I guess for the seat? The design comes in on all four sides. The straw looks like rope to me just very old and dirty. The chairs are old but could be beautiful again. They are in excellent condition from what I can see, just dirty and smoked up. Can someone that knows about old furniture please help me. I do not want to mess these chairs up by doing something I shouldn't. I planned on putting murphy's oil soap in very warm water and give them a good cleaning. What would you perfer I use. I've been looking for these chairs for along time.
