Q:Im not very good with computers but I wanna buy Radeon hd 6850 graphic card, I have a 500 watt psu but I heard I need a 6 pin cable which my psu doesnt have. Can I use a 6 Pin PCI Express Video Card Power Cable Adapter?
maybe okorder /... for your vga card and your 500 watt psu is certainly strong enough to support the graphics card. ~hope it help~
Q:The power cable to my mom's laptop keeps making a buzzing sound that I've never heard it make. I've asked my dad, but he said it was normal. I was relieved until the cable made that noise after I unplugged it. What can it be? It is the power cable itself not the laptop.
The buzzing noise is not that of a Laptop its rather that of the Power adapter of the Laptop so there is nothing to worry about it you laptop is as good as it can be. But i would suggest not to use that adapter for a longer time because it may cause trouble in voltage fluctuations .
Q:Someone gave me a KDSusa LCD monitor. It doesn't have the usual spot on the back of it for me to plug in a power cable. I've never seen a monitor without the power cord plug in the back. There's a hole/plug on the side of the blue part that goes into the computer...I thought maybe that's where a some sort of power cord would go but I'm not sure. HELP!
That means it requires an AC Adapter. You need to know the power requirements for the monitor, then you can go to Radioshack get an A/C to DC adapter that provides the power recommended
Q:I've got 1/0 gauge wiring and if i run this along my rear deck quot;speaker wireswill this cause noise?im not talking about the RCA cables.
Since the power wires in the car carry direct current (DC), it shouldn't interfere with the speaker wires. If the wires carried AC, there could be interference.
Q:for any SATA 2 HDD, the power connector is longer. compared to the data transfer cable. wht is it so?,-------------- ,------the first set of lines represent the power connector second; the data connection cable.
There are more pins on the power connector (because more are needed).
Q:I want to tidy up all of the cables behind my desk. I have some of that special plastic wrap to do it, but I'm worried about overheating and induction. How many mains voltage power cables can I safely have in a single bundle? What about speaker cables and TV/monitor cablesHow can I tell if I have bundled up too many cables together, are there any warning signs?
You should have no problem keeping the power cables separate from any audio or video cables. You might get some interference from the power cables if you don't.
Q:It never occurred to me that the power cable -- the one connected from the outlet to the laptop's AC brick -- is rated at quot;125V - 7Aquot;. Does that mean it won't be able to handle the 240V in some countries? The brick itself is rated 100V - 240V, so it can be used internationally. In fact, I spent a year in France, where I used my Dell Inspiron just fine (with a prong adapter so it'll fit into the socket). The reason why I'm paying attention to the power cable is because the cable for my Nikon D80 battery charger has a quot;USsticker on it. The charger itself can handle 240V, but does this mean the cable cannot?
usually most all computers made within the last 5 years automatically work overseas. However, don't assume that. I would think because it has a sticker.... it means that it may only take 125V so don't push it. To be safe just pick up a converter at the store. Walmart has them for about 10 dollars or less. Make sure you read the package to find out if it does change the voltage!!!
Q:Hello, i have a quick question, this card doesn't need PCI cables right? My power supply is 450 wattNVIDIA GTX 750 TI is the cardThank you
It does need power cables. Your PSU should come with them. That's all the cables it needs.
Q:ok so i opend up my machine, and i bassicly took apart the processor and removed the dail up pci card thingy, then i put it all back together and i also took off the case, which meant removing all case power leads, quot;power SWand power led etc. but i put them all in the same place i took them out, well i think i did, theres so many different slots it they could go into, it would take at least 500 attempts to find the right slots for all, not to mention the fact i might blow the board. so has anyone got the manual for this motherboard. or no where to find an online one. cus i need to know where to plug them in. thanks
With maximum motherboards there is purely one thank you to attach the flexibility cable to the board, otherwise it purely wont in effective condition. i think there's a splash notch on the cable which ought to line up with the notch on the board
Q:What is the name of this computer psu power adapter cable from psu to 9600 graphics card....?
PCI express 4 pin to 6 pin power adapter it takes the 2 4 pin molex connectors that connect to a fan or a CD rom or hard drive/ect into 1 pci express 6 pin adapter. People use them if they don't have the 6 pin pci express on their power supply they use the adapter to connect extra 4 pin molexes to use for their video card/devices
