1.Description of Ceramic Fiber Products :

Ceramic fiber blanket is made from high quality Gao-ling clay, high purity alumina and silica oxides by spun or blown process. It is asbestos free. No chemical binder is added. Double-side needling provides blanket with great tensile or handing strength for easy installation.

2.Main features of Ceramic Fiber Products:

Improved shot content          Improved thermal properties

Improved tensile strength    Improved compression and resilience

4. Ceramic Fiber Technical Parameters

There are four kinds of ceramic fiber products according to the temperature and chemical content.

1) For the blanket, the bulk density will be 80kg/m3, 96 kg/m3, 128 kg/m3,.

2) For the paper, the bulk density will be 160-220 kg/m3.

3) For the board, the bulk density will be 240-400kg/m3.

Application

Q:Im 17 years old and have tried almost everything!!HELP!!
not knowing the conditions in your area I can only advise that you contact a Lowe's or home depot for advicePutting up tinfoil on the wrong side actually reduces the insulating value and can cause other problems.
Q:we are manufacturing company making large volumes of cotton and blended yarns and fabricswe also generate lots of cotton wasteI hate to seel the waste in that same formcan i convert this into some other product like converting them into paper boards or something else
Yes, paper and those types of products can be made from this wasteCan you also sell it as stuffing for bedding and such? And it could be added (possibly) to plastic/wood materials to make composite materials for buildingThis would bring the cost down greatly I would thinkYou could also donate it for furniture and building materials for the homelessI am working with a non-profit org that is looking for materials for furniture as well as building materials I will think about this more and see if I can come up with anymore ideasI am an engineering student and we love to do this stuff! :)
Q:My mother's house is being torn apart due to water getting into the atticWell the attic was a mess and they removed all the insulation professionallyProblem is all my childhood toys and my siblings were in that atticSo the company cleared out the insulation and threw all our stuff on the floor in the room that the attics entrance was inIt is all covered in insulation pieces and me and hubby dug through the stuff to see what could be salvagedIt was covered in bits and pieces of the insulationand our hands and all exposed skin hurt like it was fiberglass as I'm sure it wasPlus for about a week now we seem VERY congestedmore so than allergies or a coldLike stuff is stuck in our lungsCould this be from the insulation getting in our lungs? I see that you should wear a mask during removal but what about when handling objects that have bits and pieces of the insulation on them? I'm just curious.
The fiberglass in insulation is very small, easily ingested and breathed right into your lungsIt takes a while for it to get out, but worse than that it can cut your lungs even leave scarringMy suggestion is to go to the doctor and get a breathing test and therapy doneIt may require going on something like Advair for a whileGood Luck!
Q:I heard that getting your daily amount of fiber helps get rid of belly fatIs this true?
A strengthening/nourishing shampoo and conditioner, heat protector spray and regular haircuts (an often forgotten, but important step) should minimise heat damageAlso, when using straightening irons, better to use fewer, slow 'strokes' through the hair than more, rapid onesTake all those steps, and you could probably get away with doing it as much as you wantI seem to.
Q:Hi,I was just wondering what best insulator for keeping hot water from losing temperature? I'm doing a project in science, and we have to put hot water in a can and insulate it with a materialWhoevers insulator keeps the water from losing the most temperature winsThe weight of the can after we add the insulation also mattersSo if one insulator is more efficient at keeping temperature, but weighs more than another, the one that weighs less would be best to go withthank you :)
First consider the 5 types of heat loss your water can undergo for your design1Conduction - Heat flowing through contactYour biggest concernCreate a dead air space around your canMaybe with a foam like great stuffLook at the R value of insulatorsThe higher the R value the better the insulator2Convection - Cold air blowing across your can of water and circular water currents in your can waterMaybe try wrapping your insulator in some plastic wrap? 3Radiation - Infrared radiation emitted from your hot waterUse a shinny metal to reflect the infrared radiation back toward the watersome aluminum foil would be the cheapest method 4Evaporation - If their is no top this will be a major form of coolingmake sure you have a cap5Mass Transfer - Not really applicable for your design Basically you will want to create a lot of dead air space around your can with some layers of shiny metal foil to reflect IR radiationThen wrap all of this with plastic wrap to prevent convection cooling.
Q:I had extremely bad liver enzyme count and very bad cholesteral levelIn-between blood tests, I lifted weights( no cardio) and every night I took a fiber supplement6 months later I took another blood test and my results came back normal and the doctor was shocked The doctor even shook my hand and said good job.Should I thank the fiber supplement or me weight lifting every day?
The garter stitch border should keep it from curling but maybe you don't have enough stitches in the borderYes, block the final productMost times it worksWet the scarf in warm water and lay your it on a flat surface on a towel, smooth it out with your handsDon't stretch it and if it doesn't want to lay flatput another towel over it and lay something heavy along the length of it-books laid end to end should workOnce it's dry it should be fine but you may have to repeat the process when you wash it
