Inch thread is an isosceles triangle with 55 degrees, 60 degrees is made of an equilateral triangle, if you have a good tooth type gauge measurement, also the same number of teeth have more teeth than American english. Therefore, the two threads in your subject are short in length and inch in english.

Sounds like an oil seal! Could be the main seal at the shaft or just a gasket going bad. Have you tried searching youtube videos for information? This can be a big help. Order yourself a repair repair manual that you can refer too. That would be the first thing I suggest if your going to do it yourself. You might even be able to find some repair images right here online. So your leaving a red transmission fluid not a black oil correct? If it's black and between the engine and tranny it could be a main seal there.

Tough situation; the easy thing to do would be to let it go since you're about to leave. The right thing to do is to police up your battle buddy. You've been in long enough to know that if your battle buddy gets caught sleeping, he won't be the only one in trouble. So? 1. Tell him he's a turd and doing the wrong thing. 2. If he doesn't correct his actions, notify the NCO on duty. Impede his every attempt to be a dirt bag. Turn the fan back on. If he wants to argue about it, let him get loud. When the NCO comes in, make no quams about saying My battle buddy is upset because he wanted to sleep so he turned the fan off to hear you coming. The threat of turning him in should be enough to correct his behavior, if only for the short term. And that's all you have to deal with him for. Or notify your Student Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, etc. Work it up your student chain of command and give them the opportunity to help you.

I think a key difference between necklaces and a metal rod is that the metal rod is on the inside of your body. In most cases electrical current flow is on the outside of a conductor. This is why people inside of cars and planes are usually unhurt by lighting strikes. The current flows through the outside metal body. Or, If you have ever seen a demonstration at an electrical show where someone stands inside of a cage and the cage is hit by electrical sparks and the person is fine, this is the same concept in action. Referring back to your original question, jewelry is on the outside of you body and is a good conductor and the current will from your body through it, and the electricity then has to flow back through your body to reach ground. There is resistance heating whenever the current has to flow into another medium. This is partly what melts the jewelry and causes the burns. What would happen with a metal rod is harder to guess and would depend alot on whether or not it was raining and your body was soaked, but it is unlikely that that a rod inside the body would have a large current flow through it. It would not be electrically advantages for the electricity to flow from the outside of your body to the inside. The longer the rod get the more likely it is that it would become the path of least resistance and possibly receive current flow. If there was current through the rod, the most severe burn would happen where the current entered the rod and left it.

there are two reasons these fittings already have solder in them. are they used? if so, buy new ones. you could possibly clean them with a 1/2 wire brush. i dont put too much trust in the fittings that come with solder aready in them, but they should work. yes, use flux. my favorite is nokorode, but oatey works ok. heat the fitting on the under side, not the pipe and apply solder to the edge. apply until a drop forms at the bottom.
