Sometimes you can have noise problems when the grounding wire is too small, but you're talking about 0 gauge so definitely not an issue! This is all provided that you have a way to connect a 0 gauge wire to the equipment you're talking about. Most won't accept that large of grounding wire because it's overboard on size.

I think (providing it doesn't happen right after you get the product) that it's pretty much normal wear and tear over time. Q:Im currently running 8 gauge power wire from my battery to my amp which is a hifonics zxi8408 i have it bridged to 2 channels so its pushing 440 watts x2 to 2 alpine type Rs. The current speaker wire im running is 16 gauge.My question is...since im going to go down to 4 gauge power wire, should I lower the speaker wire and get 12 gauge speaker wire also? What will sound the best?: The okorder and buy some 10 or 8 gauge for the speaker wire and get some 4 gauge wire from them also. The prices are very good. Its really good wire too trust me i have all Knu Konceptz wiring and RCAs in my car with 7k watts. I got about 100ft of the KLMX 0 gauge wire and i'm using the 4 gauge KLMX wire for my speaker wire. You should get some of their 4 gauge it's good stuff with a lot of copper strands... no bullshit...

Q:I have a 1983glastron cvx-16 and need to wire the lights, tach horn fuel guage there are 2 wires coming off the fuel guage one pink from the center and the other looks to be comming off of a bracket not conacted to the tanks fuel guage: Wiring your gauges is pretty easy to do as there are only 3 wires per gauge.You have a positive,negative and sender wire.Your positive wire goes to the I which is the ignition terminal,the negative goes to the negative terminal and the sender wire to the S terminal.That's it,done.To make it a little easier I'll give you the usual colour's of the sender wires. OIL pressure = light blue Fuel =pink or yellow usually pink Tach=gray Temp=light brown or brown Trim sender=brown with a white stripe. Light wire for gauges=blue Your positive wire for your gauges is purple and this wire starts from your key switch,from the I terminal.I hope this helps.

Q:I have two ceiling lights in my kitchen that come into the same wiring box (light switch). It's a single light switch that controls both lights. I want to install a two fixture light switch so that I can turn on each light by itself. It looks like there are only two wires coming into the box...a black one and a white one (and a ground wire). The two-switch I bought is requiring three wires though. How do I wire this thing?: You would need an additional run of 2/14 wire ( 14 gauge wire , black, white and ground ) to go from the switch box to one of the fixtures for this to work. All of the bare grounds in the switch box would be joined with one going to the ground terminal on the switch. All of the common ( white ) wires in the switch box would be joined with a wire nut. The black wire supplying power to the switch would go on the side with the single terminal. One of the black wires to one light would go on one of the terminals on the other side. The new black wire would go on the other terminal on that same side.
