Q:What's the difference between turbine butterfly valve and manual butterfly valve?
The turbine can light and close the valve here. It is more labor-saving and reliable. It is closed and open. Manual operation is relatively difficult, but the manual action is very fast. Fast switching. General large bore turbine.
Q:Butterfly valve sealing material has several?
9: H- stainless steel composite layerX3- ethylene propylene rubberX4- chloroprene rubberX5- nitrile rubberX6- abrasion resistant rubberX7- fluorine rubberX8- silicone rubberX9- heat resistant ethylene propylene rubberF- PTFE
Q:What is the D37-10Q butterfly valve?
It may be the D371, the turbine to the clip type soft sealing butterfly valve, from your model can also see that the pressure is 1.0MPa, the body is ductile iron. It could be the D373, the turbo clamp hard seal butterfly valve, which is more expensive than the soft seal.
Q:can't locate freon intake valve for 03 jaguar an was wondering were it is located at
Most manufacturers put the fill nozzle on the hoses, either the high or/and the low side. Also, the low side can be found on the accumulator.
Q:How do the butterfly valves d341 and d343 differ in appearance?
A difference in appearance:D341 is a wedge type single gate structureThe D343 is a parallel single gate structureIn addition, the structure is different. D341 butterfly valves are single eccentric, while the D343 is three eccentric. Three eccentric can do zero leakage, and single eccentric can not.D341:D: butterfly valve (die, the first letter of Pinyin)3: turbine drive (6) for pneumatic, 7 for hydraulic, and 9 for electric)4: flange connection (this additional: 7 for the pair, 6 for welding)1: midline form (another supplement: 2 represents double eccentric, 3 represents three eccentric)D343:D: butterfly valve abbreviation3: hand wheel drive4: flange type3: three eccentric.
Q:Have an iron block, aluminum heads, solid roller lifters, Jessel rocker shafts, what should my valve clearances be cold, and hot??
Well, generally it's going to be .030 intake and exhaust (hot). Adjust to those clearances cold then recheck at operating temp. But it would really help to know year, make, cu. in., which aftermarket heads, to be absolutely sure. On some engines it is .024 intake / .030 exhaust and so on, depends on the lifters and valve train geometry.. What brand of lifters and cam profile? Usually they will specify valve lash and adjusting procedures. Edit: Wow, kinda' tight valve lash, krazybob, ( might be a lttle tough on the old cam lobes), and then there is your timing numbers / advice with absolutely no details to base it on ( H.E.I.?..which brand? / mechanical advance curve?, and vacuum advance numbers?, cam timing, brand of lifters, cam specs, rocker arm ratio)...Look, S-51D, the best idea is to Do- It- Right using the correct adjustment specs. The data is out there, once the configuration is identified.
Q:What do you mean, handle, butterfly valve, hard back and soft back?
Hello, soft sealing butterfly valve is generally divided into skeleton, seat and frameless valve seat, the skeleton of the general material: resin, aluminum, iron.. Etc.. With back seat is on the back of the vulcanized rubber, without skeleton, valve seat is rubber.
Q:What's the difference between cut-off valve, gate valve and butterfly valve? What's the difference in the working principle?
Stop valve is closed parts (valve) moving along the centerline of the valve seat, the valve stem to open or close the trip is relatively short, but very reliable cut off function, and because changes in the valve seat and the valve stroke is proportional to the amount of adjustment is also very suitable for convection.Check valve: also known as counter flow valve, check valve, back pressure valve or one-way valve, such valves are dependent on the flow of the pipeline itself flow force and automatically open and close, belonging to an automatic valveButterfly valve: it is a kind of valve which uses disc type opening and closing parts to turn back and forth about 90 degrees to open, close and adjust the passage of fluidGate valve is closed parts (RAM) along the vertical axis of the mobile channel valve in the pipeline, used primarily as a medium cut that open and close, generally do not have to do with traffic regulation, it can be used for low temperature and low pressure can also apply to high temperature and high pressure, and according to the different valve material is different in various media. The valve, the valve is the most widely used.
Q:What is the principle of butterfly valve and check valve? Any difference?
Direct water butterfly valve, check valve is to water can not flow valve
Q:Ok, so I took my car in for maintenance (Mustang GT convertible 2002) and the mechanic told me the valve gaskets needed to be replaced and when he gave me the estimate, they were two seperate charges for valve gaskets and valve covers, total of about $250.00 not including labor. Is he trying to rip me off cause I'm a girl by the way? Anyways, I didn't get it done cause it needed something else too and I didn't have enough money so I said I would be back in two weeks. So I called the dealership to inquire about the price and I asked the parts guy for a price on valve gaskets and he was like, I don't know what you mean, we have valve cover gaskets but nothing says just valve gaskets? I told him to give me the price anyways, thinking I would ask my brother (who hasn't tried to help me anyways) and it was $60.00 for both (I need two). How can this be if the other guy was charging me $250.00 for different parts? Help!!! Frustrated and confused, I don't know anything about cars :(
Don't okorder they cost $41.35 for both of them. Fel-pro is the brand name of these gaskets. #2. The valve stem seal kit costs $28.20 and again, Fel-pro is the brand neme. First of all does your car smoke slightly when you decelerate? If not there's absolutely no reason to bother having these seals installed. If the car does smoke when you decelerate valve stem seals are nothing but a stop gap for the real underlying reason the car smokes.
