Q:What are the characteristics of disc scaffolding
. Disc scaffolding and scaffolding, also called Leiya frame, disk type scaffolding, socket type, scaffolding, system frame. The main features are: disc type scaffold surface treatment: the main parts of the internal and external advanced hot galvanized anti-corrosion technology, which can improve the service life of the product, and provide further guarantee for safety, at the same time to reach a beautiful, beautiful disc scaffolding capacity
Q:i had it done 2/3 months ago, it was fine at first but now on each end i have two lumps on my ear:S there relitavely smal...the size of like a really tiny pea.there really painfull and sore and quite red and sometimes they scab over with yellowy crust [yes i know sounds disguisting]im just a bit worried that its gone all weird or are these normal? am i cleaning it right?
I had the same situation occur when I got my scaffold/industrial done. I wouldn't be too concerned. The lumps are called hypertrophic scars, and supposedly they are pretty common and are caused by overcleaning, harsh products, or (as I think was my case) general irritation from the jewelry moving repeatedly back and forth through the piercing or being bumped around or rubbed/touched. Mine lasted quite a long time. Try leaving your piercing alone for a couple of days. Then salt water solutions or compresses are supposed to help the lumps to heal, and I also used tea tree oil and neosporine intermittently. Hot compresses like a heated washcloth applied to the area help to reduce the lumps, as well. Sometimes it's recommended to try another type of jewelry, like titanium, or switch temporarily to two separate bars. You might also try finding a really gentle cleanser/soap. I just kept my original piercing, using the above techniques off and on, and after months of the lumps remaining red and sore, they just went away totally. Just keep your eye out for any pussing (hypertrophic scars ooze, but they don't usually pus), increased swelling, and the area feeling very hot- these are signs of infectiona nd you should see your doc right away. Good luck! :)
Q:i had my scaffold piercing done in the summer holidays and wen i went back to school (currently in my last year) they told me to take it out so i had to go back to the piercer. They changed the bar to two clear retainers in the holes so they wouldn't heal, now it hurts all the time and is red with a bubble on the top of my ear, any suggestions as to what i should do? :/
try drying it out with sea salt soaks, tea tree oil, aspirin paste (crushed aspirin and water) , chamomile tea bag soaks !!! keloids are unpredictable , you can get them anytime from changing the jewelry early, irritation, bumping it on stuff or accidentally yanking it , and they will either stay or go away !!! you can prevent infections by cleaning the piercing regularly with anti bacterial soap and sea salt soaks , making sure to use clean hands when handling the piercing and not letting anyone touch the piercing
Q:I really want a scaffold piercing and I can pay for it, I get good grades, I do all the chores I have to do, I spoke to them calmly and everything. Yet they still won't let me. My dad said that I will be grounded forever and everything but last time I got grounded, I went to a party the next day so what should I do?
i wouldn't. it may look rly cool now, but wait til u get older. would a job interview go well with that piercing? or a big hole? just think about that.
Q:what do you think?pain wise? i know it's going to hurt as it's a peircing (duh) but will it hurt especially as it's two thick pieces of cartilage?
I think industrial (or scaffold) piercings look pretty damn cool. It will obv hurt, but nothing out of the ordinary. Also, remember its just painful for a sec and then you got an awesome piercing for as long as you want!
Q:I am currently taking early childhood care education as my college major. I am learning about ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development), and scaffolding the the development in early childhood. How would you explain, and define scaffolding
Maybe this will help: scaffolding is the support provided by adults working with a child to help promote and extend development of knowledge and skills. It can mean asking appropriate questions to help extend a child's thought process, or providing suitable activities to help a child learn through hands-on activities. Look it up in your textbook and read the definition and apply it to my explanation above for a deeper understanding, and don't be afraid to ask your instructor questions like this! That's what s/he is there for!
Q:A scaffold is constructed by placing two supports under a 13 ft, 9 in (a) board weighing 84 lbs. The supports are each 2 ft, 8 in (b) from their respective ends. Two painters stand on the board; one weighs 158 lbs and stands 4 ft, 11 in (c) from the left end of the board. Where must the 222 lbs painter stand so that each support carries the same weight? (express your distance in feet from the right end of the board (d).)please help!! thanks(:
Total weight = 222 + 158 + 84 = 464 lb So, each support must carry 232 lbs Working in inches: Take moment about Right hand end Board is assumed to be uniform - CG is at the center (232 x 32) + (232 x 133) = (158 x 106) + ( 84 x 82.5 ) +(222 x d)7424 + 30856 = 16748 + 6930 + 222d 222d = 14602 d = 65.77 inches Distance of 222 lb painter should be 5ft 5.77inches from Right end
Q:Was thinking of getting one. How much do they cost?
Only a professional piercer can decide if your ear can handle and industrial piercing. Consultations are free and I highly recommend booking one before you get the piercing. Mine was $70, but my regular piercer does them for $50. It just depends on what shop you go to.
Q:This is an answer to irreducible complexity. Are there any examples that we see in animals or organs? or on the cellular level? Are vestigial organs a form of quot;scaffoldingquot; that are in the process of being removed?
The classic demonstration was in the E. coli long term experiment. A strain gained the ability to metabolize citric acid after 31,500 generations. Culturing preserved strains from 15,000 and 20,000 generations showed that there was an event that occurred in between that enabled the later conversion to citrate metabolism.
Q:If you have two workers say standing on a scaffolding, their are downward forces from the weight of the workers along with the weight of the scaffold, and upward forces from tension suspending the scaffolding in place. The opposite forces add to zero and thus the scaffolding remains at rest.My question has to do with what would occur if more/less workers were on the scaffolding. It appears to me that the scaffolding would always remain at rest. Would there always be a ΣF=0 regardless of the amount of workers? As the decreases in weight from removing a worker would also cause the tension force to be weaker? And vice versa if there were more workers?I
You are correct so long as the scaffolding is not allowed to move. I.e. the cables suspending it are locked and not unwinding from their spools as more workers get on. More weight added would necessarily increase the tension in this type of case. However, if, when another worker got on and the tension could not increase for what ever reason, a downward acceleration would take place that is proportional to the worker's weight. Hope that clears things up.
