Q:How do you transport plastic tubes?
Plastic tubes can be easily transported by packaging them securely in boxes or crates, using appropriate cushioning materials to prevent damage during transit.
Q:Just curious, when there is only a bit of toothpaste left, I have to squeeze little by little from bottom up. But then after using it, I'll have to do the same thing next time around. Obviously the toothpaste has to settle down the tube. Why and how does it do that?
The plastic material has internal stresses that retain the shape it was cast in originally. Since it is attached to a round head it tends to form a sort of flattened cone. The toothpaste moves back up the tube to fill the available space as it is a type of really thick fluid. The shape may also lead to the toothpaste moving upwards due to capillary action (similar to how water moves up a very thin straw) To combat this effect, you can buy a little squeezy thing that rolls over the tube to prevent the toothpaste from moving backwards, or you can fold/bend it over as you use it like many people do. I store mine upright on the cap so the toothpaste settles at the end I squeeze it out of. The tube also uses less counter space when you store it upright as compared to laid over on its side.
Q:What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the medical packaging industry?
There are several advantages of using plastic tubes in the medical packaging industry. Firstly, plastic tubes provide excellent protection against breakage, ensuring the safe transportation of medical products. Secondly, plastic tubes are lightweight, making them cost-effective for shipping and storage purposes. Additionally, plastic tubes offer superior barrier properties, protecting the contents from moisture, gases, and light. Moreover, plastic tubes are customizable, allowing for ease of labeling and branding. Lastly, plastic tubes are recyclable, making them an environmentally friendly option for the medical packaging industry.
Q:If you had 32 plastic test tubes, what would you use them for?
shot glasses for a spooky halloween party
Q:Ok so I now have all my gear to go bass fishing and im using some soft plastic tubes and brush hogs mainly using a carolina rig. I will be fishing in lakes for small mouth and large mouth. After casting what are some good methods of retrieval for the lures other than just reeling it in. for instance should i pause for so many seconds after the bait hits the water then reel? or should i reel then pause for so many seconds then reel again?
Tubes I use a tube jig and....just jig it. Brush hogs I'd rig texas style and pitch it into weeds.
Q:I am looking for plastic tubing that has an ID of .5mm to 1mm that is made of a light weight material, and is sold in straight lengths, opposed to a coil. I am trying to avoid the coil because my application requires a very straight piece of tubing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Zach

Q:i just received my lebra car hood protector that ordered off OKorder and it has on it these tube things and i dont know if im supposed to take the plastic tubes out and what they're for...
If the tubes are on the top(hood side) of your bra or protector usually one on the right and one one the left top side these are there as air dams to help keep your covering from flapping in the wind.... Hopefully my description is what you were trying to describe , and hopefully I have been able to answer your question correctly for you....jimboz
Q:Are plastic tubes suitable for industrial automation?
Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for industrial automation. They offer advantages such as flexibility, durability, and resistance to corrosion, making them ideal for various automation applications. Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight and can be easily integrated into automated systems, contributing to improved efficiency and productivity in industrial settings.
Q:This connector is used with plastic tubing and is inserted into a rubber stopper (which is in turn inserted into a waste flask). The 'wings' are for holding the tubing in place. Previously this connector is believed to have been bought through Fisher Scientific, but recent searches (with out knowing the name of this item) have not yielded results. If anyone has any suggestions of where to obtain this or what this is called it would be greatly appreciated.
Can't see the image. Is it a condenser?
Q:I have a little bit of a project. I'm trying to figure a way to cool a pair of water filled tubing lines. I was thinking to wrap it with some type of cooling device but not quite sure what to use. Can you guys give me some ideas? I want to cool the lines as cool as refrigerator temps. Thanks.
You have not said how much heat you need to disperse - whether it needs to be a continuous process or not. You have not mentioned whether the lines are flexible or what length they are! However, without making things too complicated, if you use a longish length of plastic tubing, you could coil them and run them through a bucket full of an ice/salt/water mixture. Depending on how fast the water is moving through the tubes, if you had a strong mixture of salt and ice - with just enough water in the bucket to allow conduction - you might be able to freeze the water in the tubes - which is probably NOT what you want to do. So experiment before the performance.
