Q:I sent a check in the amount of $33.00 Oct. 11, 2006. On Dec. 16th I received a notice it will run out in Feb. 2007. Did they change their records?

Q:I tried Burpee, Planet Natural, and Home Gardens.
Most online garden catalogues would i would have thought but surely it would be just as easy to buy at a garden centre? have you tried Thompson and Morgan or J. Parker
Q:I watched a show about 2 years ago and a lady made a cool planter box out of cement that takes a month or so to dry. Then she put a rock garden and other succulants and I would love to watch that again so I can make one. Thanks.
Iwas going to say make a foam shape and make the concrete how yo want it then wait to dry..and pour acetone all over the foam to melt it and make sure its gone then youve got a planter! have fun :)
Q:Does your ego require a lot of maintenance?
Hers above obviously does ! Who can recommend a good , ahem .... service ! edit..It's as obvious as the nose on your face why they put you in the gardening section , they took one look at you confused you with a garden gnome !
Q:I can work from home if high speed internet, husband, trucker, but may change careers.
Bend is a nice little town and seems to have a lot less rain since it's on the other side of the mountains from Portland. You might also consider Ontario, off of 84 near the Idaho line. If your husband is a trucker it will be better for him if you live near the interstate- more jobs available, or more freight if he's an owner/op. If I am not mistaken I get high-speed internet there with a cell phone based air card (I am a truck driver too, travel thru there on a regular basis)....so I am sure there are home based high-speed options. (And if not, you can go with Sprint cell service :).
Q:I've been searching for so long trying to find a decent gardening website, I need a website that's easy to navigate. The website I'm currently joining is really difficult. There's too many advertisements and the categories are so weird! I can't deter where I want to go. When I want to go to Cosmo Flowers sections, they only show, quot;flowersquot;, quot;vibrant flowersquot; ...etc. They don't give specific categories and sections. It's really a pain in the head. A nice, easy-to-navigate website would be most helpful.
The Better Homes and Gardens website has a whole section devoted to gardening. The topics are separated into easy to understand categories that make sense. You can also search the site for specific information. This site has a large amount of information on a variety of gardening topics. Refer to source referenced below...
Q:I need to know a home remedey to repell cats from flower beds and/or gardens. Thanx
There is a product called NO NO in the pet stores. Pet Smart
Q:I understand that the shrinking and expanding of the logs is a problem with log homes. Is this less with cedar logs? Is it ok to mix log types such as cedar and oak? Is there a sealer that will stop the logs from getting enough moister to expand?Have any of you ever used cement between the logs like the older style cabins had? Any body out there a log home builder?I have seen homes with adjustment bolts to at the top of the walls to compensate for the expansion. But i do not see that in many photos in the log home magazines, does this mean they are just shooting the photos from angles that will not allow the viewer to see the bolts?............. And in reality all log homes have these bolts, and it is unavoidable or what? If anyone can help me with this I would be thankful.
I okorder /... Doing an online search of log house issues brought up those links for me, and many more. So if you do the same, you can find even MORE information to help you figure out what you need to know.
Q:I just recently moved into a remodeled home and am renting the house. I was told by my brother-in-law that the LANDLORD should be taking care of/responsible for the gardening issues (backyard/front yard maintenance hiring some professional people). If they fail to do so, then the landlord should take off some $$ off the rent. Is this true? In my lease agreement, she attached a piece of paper to the lease that states that I am responsible to upkeep the yards. Is this true or should I contact her and let her know that the garden isn't my responsibility? Thanks!
In most of the places I've rented, the yard was the responsibility of the renter. It seems as if your lease spells this out all the more clearly.
Q:where can you buy Jackfruit here in southern California?
lol this is the first time, ive gone to home and garden and this was the first to catch my eye. but my answer would also be an asian market. My mom always brings home jackfruit in a can. and even fresh ones and throws them in our freezer. sooo good!
