- articture design, better homes and gardens, also try to google the question Mccalls, and Redbook too
- Q: we tried ours today at grandparents house.. they have the hgtv... and nothing worked... (works fine at home) any ideas?
- HG? As in Mercury? Or Home Gardens? Or do you mean HDTV? If the TV has a yellow RCA jack on the back (for composite video cables), you use the cable that came with for a standard-definition (480i) signal. The Wii is capable of enhanced-definition, progressive scan video (480p), and that requires a component video cable (where the video signal is split over 3 RCA cables - usually colored red, blue, and green). Most HDTVs have component video jacks on the back. Usually you have select what input jack you want to use on the TV.
- Q: Modern home decor/bedroom redecorating/ikea style/teenage bedrooms..any magazines like this that i can subscribe to online?maybe to canada..
- Yes, OF course
- Q: I live in central new york... I would like to plant a garden this year. this will be my first time, any tips or suggestions? what are the best vegetables to plant for my area. thank you!
- More than likely a 5. What vegetables you can plant depends on the sunlight you recieve in the area where you'll be putting your garden. 6 -7 hours or more of sun per day is generally considered full sun and would be perfect for most veggies and herbs. Just make sure you are watering well. Your local garden centers or hardware stores can help you out when selecting plants and fertilizers. Good Luck!
- Q: Built by Aeronautic engineer by the name of Andrews.
- If you have his full name google him Check BHG web site for back issues. google bhg 1980 feature homes. contact BHG for back issues. Good luck.

- Q: I have a Better Homes and Gardens Special Edition Pink Plaid: For Breast Cancer Awareness The complete 12th edition quot;New Cook Bookquot; from 08/2005.
- The cover was the only change. The recipes were all the same. I need some pages from the regular edition of the 1965 book. Find a copy of the regular edition at a garage sale or somewhere and highgrade this one into yours?
- Q: We are remodeling our kitchen, and we liked a kitchen we saw in a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. My wife tore out the page, page Z4 from January 2007 issue. I got this issue out of the library, but no page Z4 (z as in zebra) (Better by Design - Comfort comes to the kitchen article). It must have been some supplement. Does anyone have this issue with this page? We are desperate for the kitchen specs from this article, which they often print at the end of the magazine. Please let me know if you have it, or have an idea what magazine it is really in...thanks!
- Go to their home page and click on customer service in the upper right hand corner. Perhaps they will e-mail or fax that page. Or perhaps they have back issues for sale.
- Q: What's a good zone 9 gardening book?
- Better Homes and Garden prints one. Google their site for information on how to find the book.
- Q: We are moving to a town house, it's so nice, so happy, the only thing is there is no space for a garden BUT we have this huge patio that I could have 2 big planters filled with flowers! Can you please give me some tips as well as flower suggestions for the planters? I'm in NW Pennsylvania so no tropical flowers unfortunately. I love Impatients and marigolds, tho!
- Petunias are reliable container plants. Impatiens will do fine in a container and so will Marigolds, Begonias, Coleus, Million Bells, Sweet Potato Vine. Most any annuals that you find in a garden center will perform nicely in a container. Just be sure to match the plant with your surroundings, just as you would in a garden. That is, if it's a sunny area use sun loving plants and use shade lovers in low light. And, if you get bit by the plant-loving bug like me, you will wind yourself having more than just two planters. I tell myself every year: no more container plantings! Yeah, right. You can plant bulbs in those containers now and have blooms in the spring: Daffodils, Grape Hyacinth, Tulips, Crocus. I get carried away with my planting ;) Sorry so long: look around at containers that are professionally planted, both at garden garden centers and in public places like municipal buildings or on Main Street. This mightl give you inspiration for the plants you want.
