- Absolutely! Currently, we power all of our condenser mics with phantom power through lines that are over 300' long. The power required is miniscule, therefore the current flow to power them is also very small. The voltage drop is what will eventually cause the mic to stop working, but that will require thousands of feet of cable, especially at 48 volts, if that is the rating of your phantom power supply (can be 11 to 48 volts).

- Q: Hi, Whether it will causes any problem the power and speaker in a same path? I dont have a separate path for speakers to mount it in wall. I plan to use the existing path which is used for other electrical items. If i use the same path for electrical wire and speaker wire, it will damage the speaker or will make any short circuit in the electrical line?Thank you.
- You will be fine. Keep in mind that both cables are insulated. You are not going to get a short circuit. I have my speaker wires running next to the electrical cable in several of the rooms in my home and have no issue at all. Hope this will help you out.
- Q: i bought a new graphics card a while ago, an nvidia 9400gt (i now realize how LOL that is). i connected it, but i noticed there were no extra power cables hanging around that would fit on the small six pin slot on top of the card. the performance increase has basically been negligible, and i don't really want to mess with the power box. should i take it into a computer shop, or is there an easier solution?yes, i installed it correctly and everything. i'm 100% sure.

- Q: He has made a couple of really small slits in the black plastic on the wire, all in the same place, but on both sides. I can see silver through it, but no other colours. I have unplugged it from the laptop and the mains, as I assume I shouldn't use it. However, it is the bit attached to the big square thing (sorry, I don't know what it is called), does that have a charge, so should I do something special with the wire? Also, is there any way to repair it, like electrical tape, or should I just go buy another cable this afternoon?I have a Sony Vaio in case that is important.(and before anyone says, don't let your dog chew the wire, he usually leaves the wire alone, I left him for a couple of seconds and when I came back he was chewing something next to the wire, so I guess he missed! - no its fine but i would suggest that you take caution in plugging it back in maybe wear rubber gloves or something but you shoould be fine, some people would go out and by a new cord but it is completely unneccesary

- Q: When I unplug the power cord from my laptop the screen brightness automatically dims down to about 10% of its total brightness, and when I click the quot;increase screen brightnesskey on the keyboard the brightness will only increase about 5% until it stops. It's like I've put some limit as to how bright the screen can get. Anyone know how to fix this?
- I'm not sure if this will fix it but I have an idea. Do you know where the charge level in on your computer. I have the inspiron 1520 so it's an old version but on mine it's on the bottom right hand corner. If you click on that you should get a screen that pops up and gives you the amount of battery life it has left in a percentage then underneath that it should have a select a power plan: area and the options that it gives you are balanced, power saver and High performance. If you click on the high performance then the brightness should be the same weather the power cord is plugged in or not. Hope I helped =)
