But my main concern is that the skin under the bar looks like it's being pushed down and the skin is growing around the bar? Is this bad?: Yes it is bad if I looks as if it has the skin growing around it. I would see your piercer about that.

Q: i really want this piercing but i am a wimp with pain lolbut 2 of my friends have got i one said it was sore and onesaid it wasnt and im getting it tomorrow: It hurts extremely bad. I have 18 piercings and have never experienced that much pain at once. But the pain is white hot for a second then it fades into a throbbing as if someone pinched your ear extremely hard. Just make sure you watch the piercer get the area ready, make sure it's a clean needle and barbell. Infection is the last thing you want.

Q: I got my scaffolding piercing yesterday (a bar through the cartilage) and when i woke up this morning there was quite a lot of blood, i mean like there was big clumps of it around the holes. I've cleaned it up and it seems to look okay and it isn't any more painful than when i got it done yesterday. Is this normal?Thanks (:: well when i got my lip pierced idk if this is the same thing but when i woke up the next morning there was blood on my pillow, my face, and running down my neck and now its fine just be sure to clean it every day and it should be fine

Q: how can you tell is a scaffolding piercing is infected?: Excessive redness extending well beyond the piercing area, hot to the touch, yellow/green pus with an odor.

Q: Other than it being cheaper and more eco friendly than steel scaffolding, why is bamboo used to make scaffolding in hong kong and china?: The reason is simple.....Bamboo will bend in the event of a typhoon and is thus safer than steel scaffolding.

Q: I'm wanting a scaffold piercing so i can wear it with a bar or 2 rings. Could i get it PIERCED with the 2 rings to begin with or do i have to have a bar for the first few weeks/months?: My friend wanted the same thing done so she asked the piercer and he pierced one side of her top ear first and a week later she went back and got the other side pierced. She got used to the rings being in for 2 weeks and then put a bar in. Beware though as the bar that is put into your ear can make your skin grow around it, I still have two lumps on my ear from where the piercing went dodgy and so has my friend. I want it done again though! :)
