- Q: I've had my scaffold piercing for nearly a year now, and on the bottom hole i have a sore red lump on the outside (back of) my ear not in the fold but the back? if you get me?? But its SO sore and its quite red, and i was wondering whether i should pop it? do whatever to it? I've had it for a while now and it does flare up red and painful but then it stops hurting, but it getting on my nerves now and i dunno what to do with it??Thanks :)xx
- Sea salt soaks are your best friend. Try them, twice a day on your lump, it usually goes away after a week with this. If it doesn't, then I would go to the piercer and ask them about it, tell them to have a look, maybe they know something more. But try the soaks first.
- Q: I have my tragus pierced and I have a cartilage piercing. I was wondering if the pain is comparable to these. Is it worse? Less? And do most places pierce with the clamps or do they just put it through?
- don't have my tragus but am planning on getting it...I have a scaffold piercing and a cartalage...of corse everyones pain threshold is different....but with my experience the scaffold piercing was the worst of of all my piercings....I'm not gunna lie it hurts...its not even when they do it...like it hurts but not awful :/...the second hole hurts worse...I did my own cartalage so it didn't rlly even bother me...idr...just be prepared for the healing process....I got mine. Or 9 months ago and it still hurts :/ if I get hit in it it effin hurts! But its an awsome piercing and I would never take it out and I love it so if you wanna get it deff go for it just be prepared to take care of it :) and it actually depends on the place if they use clamps or not mine did (they didn't hurt) :)
- Q: Pankou scaffolding and fastener type steel tube scaffold which is better?
- Pankou scaffolding is attracting more and more attention. The construction field has formed a round bowl buckle as the main body, steel fasteners for auxiliary "situation.
- Q: Why do so many buildings in Manhattan have scaffolding on the street level?
- the buildings are probably worn out and need renovations the scaffoldings there so some1 doesnt get injured its the same here in queens, nyc anywhere i walk, those are there lol theres are 3 being renovated around where i live
- Q: Did the pageantry of pain at the scaffold actually deter people of crimes during the 18th century?
- There were always plenty of clients of the gallows in those days. Some people simply could not stop themselves committing crimes; it was in their nature. Others were probably forced to commit crimes by their circumstances: poverty; homelessness; having to provide for a family.
- Q: hat is the safest height for static internal scaffolding towers?
- i think 0.00 mm would be safer
- Q: Im wondering what scaffolding means because my husband is going to louisiana to go work quot;scaffoldingquot; and i was wondering what they do
- Scaffolding is the framework of metal tubes and wooden planks which is built up around a building, so the workers can stand safely.
- Q: at what age can you get a scaffold/industrial piercing in england without parental consent?
- there actually are no laws in the UK about piercings other than the genitals and female nipples (you have to be 16 to get pierced in any of those locations) it is up to individual studios on what age they don't require parental consent. the best thing to do would be to contact your local shop.
- Q: above the ground by pulling on a rope weighting 6lb/ft. Set up the integral of how much work is required ( only the integrand)? Let x denote the height above ground. What is the total work?
- tie 3 concrete blocks to the end of the rope and let that bucket fly up = let gravity do the work
- Q: This pome is scaffolded from a real poem, quot;Capricorn, quot; by poet/publisher TD Euwaite. The link gives guidelines.
- It looks good Elaine (though TD is so prolific I couldn't find Capricorn). The real question though is, Did you enjoy doing it? I love the title and how it plays off the first line. I'm going to have to go with solar-sails. Edit: I just read Capricorn. Thank you for the link. It fits well. Very nicely done. Neonman: I can see how that might be a problem. Mine actually came out as a series of odd-connections. Upon revision it wouldn't fit the original anymore. I think the trick is to write the poem as if you had no future poem in mind. If I had more room on YA I would have included the original (The Red Poppy by Louise Gluck), my composite, and the final draft...we are sadly a bit limited here.
